I agree that the statue should have been marble. It is softer looking. I also understand why they chose children who were not hers but I think it confuses people. Her sons probably didn't want to commission a statue of themselves so maybe just Diana on her own would have been good.

I agree. Very odd frumpy statue that doesn't represent her at all. She wouldn't have liked it 😬

Loved seeing those beautiful gardens and the dresses - although like you I would have preferred to see more 'Royal' dresses.

I really enjoyed the video and agree there should’ve been more royal couture shown. I’m American and the Met Gala is the biggest fashion red carpet we have every year in May in NYC and the fashion is great and the red carpet full of celebrities. For celebration of the coronation of the King the fashion should’ve been what the royals have worn from the first crowning to present, that would’ve been amazing. Still really enjoyed Kensington Palace. Always enjoy your videos thanks 😊

Great fashion tour. I was expecting more older gowns. And yes, more Crown, less Hollywood. Diana often wore couture. Best part was "Greta T was on vid - I left". Good for you. The rooms were stunning, thank for showing all. Also for showing the tea menu. I'm doing a small tea for myself on Sat. Coronation chicken salad and cucumber sandwiches. Pot of tea. Love from rainy Oregon.

Loved the garden. I’m not into fashion, I’d rather look at beautiful art work and view history of royal family. Thanks for taking us along, Hannah! ❤️

I'm inclined to agree with you. The fashion aspect in the exhibition was one that I thought I would enjoy having seen the Dior exhibition at the V & A but from what we saw it didn't look as though the past and present were as linked together as I'd expected. Hopefully once it is over they will reassess the content of each area and put more "stuff" out together with more labelling to explain what items are. I agree that the Victoria area would benefit from some of her own work like paintings to bring out the Queen's early life. However delighted to have discovered the video.

Short of a trip to LONDON....The Hannah tours are THE BEST !

You can say coronated, that’s hilarious! The gift shop is how they keep up the grounds. I haven’t gotten a CRlll trinket yet, but I love my Platinum Jubilee mug. And the Buckingham Palace shower cap has been a huge hit as a gift. I wish they would have had Princess Catherine’s BAFTA gowns. Have a great summer!

Great tour Hannah! The voice-over works, don't be afraid to use it when you need to. People need to relax re:"crowning" we know what you mean lol. Your vids are creating a list of things to do in London, thank you!

I was there as well, and kind of agree with most comments lol it was really disappointing to see the influencer/ met gala people mixed with historical and real royal pieces. Some people next to me were totally rushing the way out when finding themselves reading the description of someone’s dress from 2022. Still worth the visit since the palace itself is astonishing and in perfect condition. The garden, the tea area… I got much more entertained with the Crown Jewels exhibition, that was exquisite ❤

Your videos always feed my need for a bit of London when I can't come visit. Brought me back to my last trip to Kensington. My guys were a bit underwhelmed by the palace, but I'm the Victoria fan, so I thought it was very interesting. I even got that little Diana plate you showed. Yeah, the statue is odd, but the sentiment is sweet. Missing her a lot - especially as we see someone else get crowned on Saturday. Anyway, thank you, as always. 😊

The statue is odd. Huge Diana fan and I keep trying to like the statue. Just doesn't seem to really represent her. Thinking maybe if the children were closer, she was always hugging. And, it has not aged well.

Hi again Hannah ! Touring the souvenir shop at Kensington palace with you, reminded me of my trip to France a couple of years ago, where I was lucky to visit Giverney and the beautiful house and gardens where the famous artist Claude Monet lived and painted . The house has been preserved perfectly with the decor ,French Provincial I would say with the most beautiful furniture and paintings and the kitchen with an old fashioned stove wood burning I think. Utterly charming and tasteful. Took loads of pics and videos! Also did a tour of the famous gardens of Giverney which were the subject of many of his beautiful watercolours,and yes, I got to see the famous lily pond the subject of his famous painting of the same! A feast for the senses! Adjoining the house is a Monet museum and a gorgeous souvenir shop crammed to the gills with Monet art , prints of his paintings , confectionary , tea towels et all, done and presented with the Monet touch! I went on this trip with the company Gate1 travel .com is their email address. Though they’re a Washington based company , they organise tours all over the world and in my opinion and many others are experts on Europe! I can vouch for this. Did some fab trips with them to Spain Italy and France, the list is huge including river cruises in Europe , I did the Danube cruise which docks each day at various destinations Vienna Prague Salzburg, Budapest Bratislava etc. Amazingly organised with amazing itineraries, you’re spoiled for choice! Do check it out, the duration of the trips are usually about 2 weeks.

Hello Hannah, My son and I did this exact tour towards the end of May. I strongly agree with your comments on the focus. Was on more of modern fashion and less historical royal items on display. We enjoyed the architecture and the few historical garments. The throne room was ruined with that terrible Beyonce dress. Being honest. Well done on the video. Much appreciated your honesty.

This is my opinion but I 100% don't care that a Kardashian's underwear is in Kensington Palace. However, I am delighted that there's photos of the talented Billy Porter, who is in the photos when you mentioned the Met Gala and was dressed as an Egyptian Pharoah, his costume was on display as well.

Yes, I've been to Kensington Palace, after walking from Marble Arch. And I went inside the building to use the loo, before continuing to High Street Kensington.

So glad you went to show us this exhibition - I am heading to London in August and felt like this exhibit wasn't going to be for me, and I was right. It's just not what I want to see when I go to a royal palace. Your first video at Kensington with the Princess Diana dress was one of the first ones I ever saw from you. And that exhibit was to die for!!!! I'm going to wait to go inside Kensington until either Princess Diana or Princess Catherine's dress is displayed again.

Love your videos. I agree with your criticism about the influencers and celebrities. Why would I want to drag myself all the way to London to look at American celebrities' dresses.
