They both invested most of their money into stuff like stocks and even the real estate market. At the end, they became millionaires, and they still work at their old jobs. In Architectural digest they explain that the property is combined from three separate estates. Not sure about the other ones you mentioned, but the Beverly Hillbillies mansion is one of those estates. So that explains why it's from three different houses.

Great point! I always go by price per square foot or price per square meter. $165 million divided by 13,500 square feet.

Well if all those quickly flashing interior photos are actually of this house, some of Geffen’s $20 million in landscaping budget should have went to renovate many of those ho hum “average guy” rooms.

The house can fit my entire family generations.
