So, airport construction occurs in stages. Currently this airport will serve less than half a million pax annually. But when this pax is exceeded or gets close to that another terminal will be added. That makes economic sense. The airport facilities (like the runway, ILS system, aprons, etc) are all world standard even more than at Kotaka and future-proof) however. Just for analysis, Kotaka has been an international airport since 1960 but it was only in the last two decades that it reach a million pax handling annually and thus the expansions in recent years.

Nice presentation bro and you’re very funny to watch love it, to me I don’t think Ghana should compete with other countries with numbers of airport but they should compete with the ‘best airport’ that terminal is small for me, instead of building multiples terminals just combine then into one by that you can compete with other countries with the BEST airport. So much love the road network that’s OMG, more hight my Ghanaians, love from 🇳🇬.

@@CalebKudah1 so much like this your reply. Can’t wait to see nigeria 👊🏾. My country not doing well doesn’t mean I shouldn’t wish other peoples well, did you think what nigeria federal government commission in Lagos this year I’m happy with it?. Guy is better you have one but is something to talk about, than having 💯 but nothing to talk about. Just imagine if this terminal and the ‘Kumasi’ terminal is been 1.. if it won’t boost tourism in your country.

@@paulinakonadu2274 guy size does does matter when it comes to airport and seaport. Is better you have 1 airport and is in the list of 1-10 best airport in the world than having 50 but none of them is in top 10 or 20, Understand the point I’m making, that single 1 will promote you more than that 50, know that an airport is a tourist attraction so you must do something to put traffic in your country.

@@okon1624 funny.......what is the important of having a very big one airport in the whole of a country ....does it even make sense?...Have u thought abt the implications of it... Do u know the number of hours it takes from northern region to Accra...and other regions to Accra... Do u know the kind of pressure that single airport will have? Time constraints Bro in this modern age things are done to eliminate pressure from people not to add pressure..... So bro each region in God willing will have it's airport to make travelling easy ...who cares abt big airports when u can do a normal size with modern quality facilities...

Moreso 1st phase of Tamale and Kumasi airports were all completed before Mahama left power. Nana Addo can only be credit for the 2nd phase of Tamale Airport and the 2nd&3rd phases of Kumasi Airport. Now we are left with the 3rd phase of Tamale Airport (Airport city) and the 4th phase of Kumasi Airport (airport City) Both airports have not been completed entirely so hold your horses
