I love Dionne. I grew up listening to her music (70's &80's). I was a little disappointed that the narrator failed to mention Dionne's show "Solid Gold." I watched every show back then. #IMissThoseGoodOldDays#

I saw her at the Staples in South Orange, NJ about 2 years ago, my dentists neck of the woods. Dionne looked ahmazing even in her casual clothes, I mean despite her life challenges. I told her "God Bless You" and she said "God Bless You Too Baby." lol love her

I was born in East Orange 78 years ago and have been a fan of Dionne since her first hit song. I’m happy to have had so many years of hearing her beautiful voice. I love you Dionne. 💕🌹🥰

I would absolutely LOVE for her to be at the top of the charts one more time. I pray these current artists realize the money could disappear at anytime.. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE. Your little children do NOT need shoes costing 1,000. A 16 yr old does not need a birthday party costing 50,000, nor do you Need 15 jeweled watches.Remember who u r, where u came from and that this blessing has come to you for you to be responsible with it.

Definitely, a living legend status!! She ruled the 60's and early 70's and she sang movie songs!!! She was seen as ELEGANT N CLASSY!!!

I know an Italian family in which the husband, a NYC attorney, knew DW. I learned this via one of their sons, with whom I studied journalism. To this day, my friend attends her concerts when possible. I am a bit starstruck.

I love her and I know that she loves Brazilians as well. She even has a beautiful home in Rio de Janeiro City.

I love Dionne Warwick and her music! People really need to look at some of her performances and her albums. She has a voice and knew how to use it. I am surprised that she does not take better care of herself as she has always been slim and trim so it blows my mind that she looks as good as she does. I wish that could have worked for Queen Aretha I wouldn't be heartbroken over her death still. Maybe Dionne has a really good skin care regimen?

Grew up listening to Dionne. My family loved her music. She also got a ton of radio play on the Bay Area radio stations. She was very popular in the 90s when I listening to Soul and Motown nonstop.

Definitely wasn't born when she was the star. I love her classics Walk on by, Don't make me over and my favourite That's what friends are for! She may not have been the best example of financial management, she's still a vocal goddess. Great video keep it up

@@rrg from what I got from the documentary. She told Pat that Cissy would leave them often with different family members because she had to work on the road and she was molested that way. It may not be true but I just always associated that with the trigger for a lot of her pain. I love you and your channel 😭💜

Oh no don’t get it twisted: Dionne Warwick was THE FIRST Whitney Houston in the 60’s. The people writing for songs for her did a great job! I have a couple of her Anthologies and I love to put them on when I take long drives-issa vibe! One time I was in Vegas I saw a big carousel board at the airport that had her and Musiq Soulchild headlining together; she’s even got a song with BONE THUGS N’ HARMONY! There’s so much more her discography has to offer than “Walk On By” and “I Say A Little Prayer”; Dionne was able to hold her own next to the likes of Tina Turner and Aretha, so she’s definitely the real deal.

I thought Dionne Warwick was born & raised in San Jose? 🤔 Fun Fact: Dionne's actual name is Warrick, but on hear real early records, the record companies misprint her name as "Warwick." So she decided to professionally and personally go by "Dionne Warwick" instead of Dionne Warrick. She's 1 of my favorite singers. I am an oldies nerd 🤓

The reason why she's so slim is probably because of her smoking habit, it probably curbs her appetite and she only eats a little bit of the unhealthy food at a time. Not a diet anyone should follow but it makes sense when you think about it lol. Can't explain why it hasn't affected her health and appearance wise tho, probably good genes

🤔 I lost count. How many times did you say she filed bankruptcy? Now, Dionne sell everything thing and downsize to a tiny home. Let go of the house keeper, assistant, and dry cleaners. Do a Vegas residency. I would buy a ticket. Loved her earlier music.

Wow! The cigarettes' haven't killed her?! Out here lookin' like she 55 and she's 80, LOL, smh. My mom loves Dionne Warwick. I took her to a play on her life at the Chicago Ensemble Theater about 3 years ago. It was amazing.
