Mr. Denny Roy: "Chinese wants to be a military power. She is not satisfied to be just a economic power...." Let me educate Mr. Roy on that point. Chinese did try to be a economic power without military power. It is called the Qing Dynasty. We all know what happened. China learned the lesson well.

He has a typical western mindset about China because westerner equate China increase in economic and military strength as prelude to expansion of power. The West has been doing these for decades and now that China has gained the position as the Second Economic power of the world, US and its allies are doing everything to control China.

China just wants to rejuvenate the nation and provide a better life and create a better living environment for its people. but the USA and its allies (not sure Singapore is one the allies), have been trying to contain since the 1950s, by spying, interfering in domestic politics, threatening China security by surrounding China with more than 50 military bases, sending weekly close and low flying jet fighters, submarines, destroyers and fighter carriers, China is therefore forced to strengthen military strength.

This help me understand China better. I’m from Malaysia. China has traded with Malaysia for 2000 years. In those years, they had been the world’s biggest powers many times. Never once they sent troops to take our land. Admiral Zheng He came to Malacca five times, in gigantic fleets, and a flagship eight times the size of Christopher Columbus’ flagship, Santa Maria. He could have seized Malacca easily, but he did not. In 1511, the Portuguese came. In 1642, the Dutch came. In the 18th century the British came. We were colonised by each, one after another. When China wanted spices from India, they traded with the Indians. When they wanted gems, they traded with the Persian. They didn’t take lands. The only time China expanded beyond their current borders was in Yuan Dynasty, when Genghis and his descendants Ogedei Khan, Guyuk Khan & Kublai Khan concurred China, Mid Asia and Eastern Europe. But Yuan Dynasty, although being based in China, was a part of the Mongolian Empire. Then came the Century of Humiliation. Britain smuggled opium into China to dope the population, a strategy to turn the trade deficit around, after the British could not find enough silver to pay the Qing Dynasty in their tea and porcelain trades. After the opium warehouses were burned down and ports were closed by the Chinese in ordered to curb opium, the British started the Opium War I, which China lost. Hong Kong was forced to be surrendered to the British in a peace talk (Nanjing Treaty). The British owned 90% of the opium market in China, during that time, Queen Victoria was the world’s biggest drug baron. The remaining 10% was owned by American merchants from Boston. Many of Boston’s institutions were built with profit from opium. After 12 years of Nanjing Treaty, the West started getting really really greedy. The British wanted the Qing government: 1. To open the borders of China to allow goods coming in and out freely, and tax free. 2. Make opium legal in China. Insane requests, Qing government said no. The British and French, with supports from the US and Russia from behind, started Opium War II with China, which again, China lost. The Anglo-French military raided the Summer Palace, and threatened to burn down the Imperial Palace, the Qing government was forced to pay with ports, free business zones, 300,000 kilograms of silver and Kowloon was taken. Since then, China’s resources flew out freely through these business zones and ports. In the subsequent amendment to the treaties, Chinese people were sold overseas to serve as labor. In 1900, China suffered attacks by the 8-National Alliance(Japan, Russia, Britain, France, USA, Germany, Italy, Austria-Hungary). Innocent Chinese civilians in Peking (Beijing now) were murdered, buildings were destroyed & women were raped. The Imperial Palace was raided, and treasures ended up in museums like the British Museum in London and the Louvre in Paris. In late 1930s China was occupied by the Japanese in WWII. Millions of Chinese died during the occupancy. 300,000 Chinese died in Nanjing Massacre alone. Mao brought China together again from the shambles. There were peace and unity for some time. But Mao’s later reign saw sufferings and deaths from famine and power struggles. Then came Deng Xiao Ping and his infamous “black-cat and white-cat” story. His preference in pragmatism than ideologies has transformed China. This thinking allowed China to evolve all the time to adapt to the actual needs in the country, instead of rigidly bounded to ideologies. It also signified the death of Communism in actually practice in China. The current Socialism+Meritocracy+Market Economy model fits the Chinese like gloves, and it propels the uprise of China. Singapore has a similar model, and has been arguably more successful than Hong Kong, because Hong Kong being gateway to China, was riding on the economic boom in China, while Singapore had no one to gain from. In just 30 years, the CPC have moved 800 millions of people out from poverty. The rate of growth is unprecedented in human history. They have built the biggest mobile network, by far the biggest high speed rail network in the world, and they have become a behemoth in infrastructure. They made a fishing village called Shenzhen into the world’s second largest technological centre after the Silicon Valley. They are growing into a technological power house. It has the most elaborate e-commerce and cashless payment system in the world. They have launched exploration to Mars. The Chinese are living a good life and China has become one of the safest countries in the world. The level of patriotism in the country has reached an unprecedented height. For all of the achievements, the West has nothing good to say about it. China suffers from intense anti-China propagandas from the West. Western Media used the keyword “Communist” to instil fear and hatred towards China. Everything China does is negatively reported. They claimed China used slave labor in making iPhones. The truth was, Apple was the most profitable company in the world, it took most of the profit, leave some to Foxconn (a Taiwanese company) and little to the labor. They claimed China was inhuman with one-child policy. At the same time, they accused China of polluting the earth with its huge population. The fact is the Chinese consume just 30% of energy per capita compared to the US. They claimed China underwent ethnic cleansing in Xinjiang. The fact is China has a policy which priorities ethnic minorities. For a long time, the ethnic minorities were allowed to have two children and the majority Han only allowed one. The minorities are allowed a lower score for university intakes. There are 39,000 mosque in China, and 2100 in the US. China has about 3 times more mosque per muslim than the US. When terrorist attacks happened in Xinjiang, China had two choices: 1. Re-educate the Uighur extremists before they turned terrorists. 2. Let them be, after they launch attacks and killed innocent people, bomb their homes. China chose 1 to solve problem from the root and not to do killing. How the US solve terrorism? Fire missiles from battleships, drop bombs from the sky. During the pandemic, When China took extreme measures to lockdown the people, they were accused of being inhuman. When China recovered swiftly because of the extreme measures, they were accused of lying about the actual numbers. When China’s cases became so low that they could provide medical support to other countries, they were accused of politically motivated. Western Media always have reasons to bash China. Just like any country, there are irresponsible individuals from China which do bad and dirty things, but the China government overall has done very well. But I hear this comment over and over by people from the West: I like Chinese people, but the CPC is evil. What they really want is the Chinese to change the government, because the current one is too good. Fortunately China is not a multi-party democratic country, otherwise the opposition party in China will be supported by notorious NGOs (Non-Government Organization) of the USA, like the NED (National Endowment for Democracy), to topple the ruling party. The US and the British couldn’t crack Mainland China, so they work on Hong Kong. Of all the ex-British colonial countries, only the Hong Kongers were offered BNOs by the British. Because the UK would like the Hong Kongers to think they are British citizens, not Chinese. A divide-and-conquer strategy, which they often used in Color Revolutions around the world. They resort to low dirty tricks like detaining Huawei’s CFO & banning Huawei. They raised a silly trade war which benefits no one. Trade deficit always exist between a developing and a developed country. USA is like a luxury car seller who ask a farmer: why am I always buying your vegetables and you haven’t bought any of my cars? When the Chinese were making socks for the world 30 years ago, the world let it be. But when Chinese started to make high technology products, like Huawei and DJI, it caused red-alert. Because when Western and Japanese products are equal to Chinese in technologies, they could never match the Chinese in prices. First world countries want China to continue in making socks. Instead of stepping up themselves, they want to pull China down. The recent movement by the US against China has a very important background. When Libya, Iran, and China decided to ditch the US dollar in oil trades, Gaddafi’s was killed by the US, Iran was being sanctioned by the US, and now it’s China’s turn. The US has been printing money out of nothing. The only reason why the US Dollar is still widely accepted, is because it’s the only currency which oil is allowed to be traded with. The US has an agreement with Saudi that oil must be traded in US dollar ONLY. Without the petrol-dollar status, the US dollars will sink, and America will fall. Therefore anyone trying to disobey this order will be eliminated. China will soon use a gold-backed crypto-currency, the alarms in the White House go off like mad. China’s achievement has been by hard work. Not buy looting the world. I have deep sympathy for China for all the suffering, but now I feel happy for them. China is not rising, they are going back to where they belong. Good luck China. -C L “Christopher Columbus didn’t discover anything, instead he just got lost” -Tasia Grzenia 💐

China has cameras everywhere, a full-fledged cell phone tracking system, and people are monitored by a government surveillance system. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 In China if you want to track a specific person, you can. When someone goes missing, the relevant information can be hidden by the Chinese Communist government so that the person cannot be found. In recent years, many underage students have gone missing. It is rarely reported in official Chinese media. In November 2022, the disappearance of a young boy in Wuhan caused great concern among Chinese people. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 In the West, waiting for a suitable organ takes a long time. However, many Chinese transplant hospitals only take a week to a month to complete a match and find a suitable donor for a patient. Some even offer emergency transplants, in stark contrast to the long waiting times for donors in other countries. Some organ transplant operations in China have multiple matching organs on standby for each patient. Few Chinese voluntarily donate organs because the traditional Chinese culture highly values the integrity of the physical body. China has a long-standing culture of believing that the body is a gift from parents and heaven, and that the soul needs to be cared for and protected so it can be taken to the next reincarnation. Moreover, in recent decades, the Chinese government has not made a big call for organ donation. However, there are many organs available. Organ crimes in China were first exposed by overseas Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners and dissidents, many of whom were detained in prisons and detention centers, had their blood drawn under the guise of health checks. They soon disappeared. Sources within the CCP system have revealed that many of the organ transplant donors come from these Falun Gong practitioners. Behind this is the organ transplant industry chain; the Chinese Communist Party's police, prosecutors, courts, hospitals, and the Triad of Chinese criminal gangs. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Such practices have continued for more than 20 years since former party leader Jiang Zemin's crackdown on Falun Gong in 1999. The organ transplant industry chain has also spread to Southeast Asian countries such as Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia. The Chinese government-led organ transplant industry will use the big data widely collected and generated during the past three years of the Covid pandemic to quickly identify specific organs and make more accurate matches. Matches to transplant recipients can be easily found from vast amounts of genetic data. Those identified have gone missing. There has been an increase in the number of teenagers who have disappeared. Evidence has been found to suggest that Falun Gong detainees were mass murdered for their organs. Massive disappearances of young Uyghur men, reports of routine blood tests of Uyghur political prisoners, reports of mysterious deaths of Tibetans and Uyghurs in custody - all of these people are under the control of the Chinese Communist government, are victims of systematic organ harvesting. It’s a crime of the Chinese government, a genocide committed by the Chinese government. Japanese people are also being targeted. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The world will decouple from China and Russia. The world will put the most severe economic sanctions on China as we do on Russia. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦🇪🇺🇯🇵 Chinese students who receive Chinese government’s scholarship must sign agreements with the Chinese government. In Written contracts, these students must promise that ①they won’t engage in activities that harm the interests of Chinese government and that ②they must follow the management of Chinese consulates. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Several Chinese Students at Lund University in Sweden were found out to have signed these agreements. The agreements are between students and the China Scholarship Council or CSC. The agency is under China's Ministy of Education. CSC sends Chinese students to study on scholarships around the world including the United States. The CSC works with many colleges in the U.S. like Harvard, MIT, and UCLA. About 370,000 Chinese students in the U.S. on 2020. One in every 14 Chinese students in America are sponsored by CSC. The students must swear loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party. "Applicants must support the leadership of the Communist Party and the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.” CSC asks students to submit periodic research reports to Chinese consulates. The students are being forced to follow the Chinese Communist party's orders, like participating in the Chinese Government’s overseas influence operations, gathering intelligence and stealing intellectual properties. The Chinese Government is exploiting students to steal intellectual property from the West. A guarantor of a student has to sign the agreement as well. Under the contract, that guarantor can’t leave China for over three months when the student is studying abroad, and the guarantor needs to pay scholarship payment if the student brakes the signed agreements. Two universities in Sweden have stopped working with CSC. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The world will decouple from China and Russia. The world will put the most severe economic sanctios on China as we do on Russia. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦🇪🇺🇯🇵

Since the enactment of China's anti-espionage law, there have been many cases of foreigners being detained or arrested in China. Because "suspicious espionage" is mainly handled not only by public security but also by the National Security Agency, the interrogation is the most severe and the detention environment is inhumane. Following the passage of the Anti-Espionage Law, the local government's National Security Office enacted rules encouraging reporting of "espionage." Since 2017, the Beijing Municipal State Security Bureau has been offering rewards of up to 500,000 yuan (8.5 million yen; 645,400 US dollars) to encourage the informant system. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 It is a situation in which even Chinese people can be accused of "violating the law" simply by contributing to foreign newspapers or responding to interviews on foreign television. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Anti-espionage law (Counter-espionage Law) is a law that regulates activities such as the National Security Agency, which was enacted in 2014 to crack down on "espionage activities". At the end of 2022, the Chinese government expanded the definition of "espionage" from the current law. He announced a plan to expand the "anti-espionage law" to strengthen the authority of the National Security Agency, which leads the crackdown, and penalties for those arrested. An expanded anti-espionage law is expected to be passed in the summer of 2023. The proposed expansion of the Anti-Espionage Law requires that state secret information be provided to a third party in a concrete manner as it is, and that documents and materials related to state secrets that may adversely affect national security or interests. Providing and "stealing" will also fall under "espionage". 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The proposed expansion of the "anti-espionage law" would greatly increase the powers of the National Security Agency, the agency that is responsible for the investigation, and could, for example, force tests on those targeted for "espionage" and ban them from leaving the country. Depending on the judgment of the National Security Agency, an extremely wide range of "information leaks" will be covered, and cases such as public information leaked from private companies and public institutions that do not comply with the intentions of the National Security Agency will be exposed. And if a person refuses an information request from the National Security Agency for "espionage" by a colleague or another person, that person can at least be fined. The proposed expansion of the "anti-espionage law" would allow the Chinese government to unfairly detain Japanese and foreigners in China, increasing scrutiny of Japanese and foreigners in China. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 A university professor was suddenly detained just before returning to Japan, and an appeal by a Japanese sentenced to prison was easily dismissed by the court. As the number of people has increased, the number of Japanese and foreigners who will be arrested will increase in the future due to the expansion of the definition of the "anti-espionage law". The Chinese government will give the State Security Agency the power to search the bags of those suspected of "espionage" and to bar citizens from leaving the country who may "endanger" national security. A “fine” is imposed for refusing to provide evidence of spying on others. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 In addition to the provision of "state secrets" under the current law, the proposed expansion of "espionage" includes "stealing" and "collecting" "other documents, data, materials, and goods related to national security and interests, etc. There is no mention of what is contrary to national security or interests. Collecting information about Chinese companies and collecting historical materials are also considered "espionage" if the National Security Administration determines that they are against "national interests." In the political report of the Communist Party Congress in October last year, Xi Jinping repeatedly referred to “national security,” calling on party members to “perform a comprehensive view of national security.” This "security view" presented in 2014 covers 11 items, including "politics," national land, military affairs, economy, and "culture." “Political security” refers to the maintenance and stability of the Communist Party regime. In China, where there is no alternative to the Communist Party, there is a perception that if the party loses power, the country will split and fall into chaos. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The powers of the National Security Agency are endlessly strengthened. The expanded proposal stipulates that electronic devices, equipment and programs of persons or organizations suspected of espionage can also be investigated. Many researchers and business people with connections to China will be affected by the proposed expansion. There are 17 Japanese detained in connection with the "anti-espionage law." In the future, this number will undoubtedly increase. Foreign researchers may be detained if they conduct research in China. Xi Jinping has strengthened his stance of emphasizing "national security," but the definition is ambiguous, and the government's arbitrary judgment is subject to exposure. In China, the Communist Party exists above the law. The proposed expansion of the "anti-espionage law" plays a greater role in keeping things out of China. Japanese and foreigners visiting China run the risk of being detained. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 In China, (1) the state can force Chinese nationals at home and abroad to carry out military activities in their respective countries (National Defense Mobilization Law, effective in 2010); (2) the state can force Chinese nationals at home and abroad to do spy activities in their respective countries. (National Intelligence Law, effective 2017). Chinese citizens who do not follow the instructions and orders of the Chinese government will be arrested and have no option to decline. Together, these two laws create the most dangerous security situation for every country. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The world will decouple from China and Russia. The world will put the most severe economic sanctios on China as we do on Russia. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇺🇸🇬🇧🇨🇦🇪🇺🇯🇵

China and Russia support North Korea and help develop nuclear weapons. In September 2017, The New York Times reported that US intelligence agencies discovered that North Korean rocket fuel was coming from China and Russia. To develop long-range missiles capable of hitting Guam and the US mainland, North Korea needs a rocket fuel known as asymmetric dimethylhydrazine (UDMH), which China and Russia provide to North Korea. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 China and Russia are selling arms to military ruled Myanmar. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The world will decouple from China and Russia. The world will put the most severe economic sanctions on China as we do on Russia. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇳🇿🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇸🇯🇵 January 5, 2022, President of Taiwan: "Taiwan's democracy and freedom must win." Taiwan is one country and not part of China. 台湾是一个国家,不是中国的一部分。台湾是一个国家,不属于中国。 🇯🇵🇹🇼🇺🇦🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The Chinese government has no diplomatic options anymore. US military officials believe China will invade Taiwan between now and 2027. It can be assumed that Japan will also have a military clash with China in five years. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Anti-Separation Law of People's Republic of China (Enforced on March 14, 2015) Article 8 "If the 'Taiwan independence' separatist forces act under any pretext or means to cause the separation of Taiwan from China, or if a serious incident occurs in connection with the separation of Taiwan from China, or if the possibility of peaceful reunification is completely lost, the state shall take non-peaceful means and other necessary measures to protect China's sovereignty and territorial integrity." Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Cambodia, Nepal, Syria, Pakistan and Ethiopia support Anti-Separation Law. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 AUKUS's (Australia, UK, US) strategy to produce nuclear submarines for Australia can integrate Taiwan into the larger Indo-Pacific Union. Together also with Japan strategically, we provide mutual cooperation on defense capabilities. 🇯🇵🇬🇧🇳🇿🇺🇸 In China, (1) the state can force Chinese nationals at home and abroad to carry out military activities in their respective countries (National Defense Mobilization Law, effective in 2010); (2) the state can force Chinese nationals at home and abroad to do spy activities in their respective countries. (National Intelligence Law, effective 2017). Chinese citizens who do not follow the instructions and orders of the Chinese government will be arrested and have no option to decline. Together, these two laws create the most dangerous security situation for every country. There are at any time 25,000 Chinese spies in Japan. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 In 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, China leaders ordered to kill thousands of student democracy demonstrators. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Chinese agents contacted a Chinese democratic activist living in the US repeatedly warning they were tracking her every movement. They threatened to kill her and harm her family in China if she didn’t stop criticizing China’s leaders. 🇯🇵🇹🇼🇺🇦🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Ignoring international law and the sovereignty of other countries, the CCP has established its own police bases, called "Overseas Police Service Centers," in 102 locations in 53 countries, including the United States, Europe, Africa, South America, and Japan. These are being used as bases to hunt down pro-democracy activists who have fled abroad. Between April 2021 and July 2022, more than 200,000 overseas Chinese pro-democracy activists were forcibly returned to China by the Overseas Police Service Center to face criminal charges. The Overseas Police Service Center's tactics include harassing and intimidating the target’s family members. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The Ministry of State Security (MSS) is China's intelligence and security agency, responsible for counterintelligence, foreign intelligence and political security. It has broad powers to conduct espionage domestically and abroad. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The MSS, Ministry of National Security of the People's Republic of China , benefits from close ties between the State and Chinese tech giants like Baidu and Alibaba and Tencent, all of which have the ability to mine personal data. Other government departments are required to cooperate with the MSS and provide support for its activities. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 A senior MSS officer was arrested in Belgium and handed over to the U.S. in 2018 on charges of conspiring to steal trade secrets from top 80 aviation companies. This spy for China’s government had been brought to America to face charges. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Chinese students who receive Chinese government’s scholarship must sign agreements with the Chinese government. Together, these two laws create the most dangerous security situation for every country. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Everyone from FBI directors to FCC (Federal Communications Commission) commissioners to cybersecurity experts have made clear the risks of TikTok being used to spy on users. It mentions that the Chinese company collects TikTok user data, which it says includes users' (1) personal information, (2) intellectual property, and (3) location data. The Chinese Government could use Tiktok to collect data on billions of users or control the recommendation algorithm for ‘Influence Operation’. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 TikTok is owned and operated by Beijing-based Chinese company ByteDance, and Chinese law requires the app's data to be made available to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Under China's National Intelligence Law (effective 2017), the Chinese government can demand all data from all Chinese companies around the world. TikTok previously said all U.S. users are stored in the U.S., but in July confirmed that employees in China and outside the U.S. could access U.S. user data. At a congressional hearing in September, TikTok executives refused to promise to stop American data from flowing to China. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 TikTok's US privacy policy indicates the company may collect biometric identifiers and biometric information such as face prints and voice prints. TikTok's US privacy policy : “We may collect biometric identifiers and biometric information as defined under U.S. laws, such as faceprints and voiceprints, from your User Content. “ 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 TikTok’s parent company ByteDance's hiring criteria favor members of the Communist Party of China. Many managers, key figures and executives in the company are members of the CCP. To demonstrate its loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party, it hired more staff for the department that acts as a censorship agency and removed content that was not consistent with the Chinese government's wishes. In 2018, the Chinese government made Communist Party members of ByteDance pledge to sacrifice everything for the party and never leave the party. In September 2021, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense warned that the products of Xiaomi, 小米集团, a major Chinese smartphone circulating in the country, have a built-in function to detect terms that the Chinese government is wary of and restrict the use of content. The ministry called on public institutions and consumers to boycott smartphones made in China and dispose of purchased products. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸 According to a report released by the Ministry of Defense, Xiaomi's smartphone had a built-in function to detect terms that the Chinese government warns against, such as "Free Tibet" and "Long live Taiwan independence." More than 400 terms are believed to be subject to monitoring, and if those terms are included in content downloaded by users, the download will be automatically blocked. It also confirmed that encrypted phone usage data was sent to a server in another country. A senior Lithuanian defense ministry official said: "We recommend that you do not buy new Chinese smartphones, and if you have already bought one, dispose of it as soon as possible." 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 China’s attempts to spread propaganda and disinformation emphasize speed over quality. China's territorial claims are groundless. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 After World War II, Japan renounced its claims to the Spratly Islands. However, it was not clear whether any state would inherit the right to claim the Spratly Islands (southern South China Sea). Therefore, there are no historical documents to support the Chinese government's claims. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The world will decouple from China and Russia. Here is the English translation: As a Chinese, I can clearly tell the world that the criteria to judge whether the ruling party and leader of a country are good or bad are firstly, whether they can protect the safety of citizens both domestically and overseas, and secondly, whether their policies can effectively improve the food, clothing, housing, and transportation of common people. Our ruling party may not be perfect, but they have been working hard and striving. As the population of the largest country in the world, being able to lift over 800 million people out of poverty and hardship, instead of through launching wars and plundering foreign countries, is already an amazing achievement. We are rising peacefully, benefiting domestic people and also providing the whole world with quality inexpensive goods. Over 90% of our ethnic group is Han, but we never oppress or exploit the 10% ethnic minorities. On the contrary, ethnic minorities in China receive more support from the state. We are not jealous or envious, because they are also Chinese, only of different ethnicities. We Chinese people love our country, and love our Party even more, because they have led the formerly 400 million compatriots to gradually move from poverty to a well-off life step by step. Our Party may still have this or that problem, but looking from history, they have always been leading us to move forward instead of backward. Therefore, we will be tolerant and trusting of it.

So it's a bit weird to see an US guy claim it's unfortunate the PLA defined Taiwan as part of China, while Taiwan itself defines itself as part of China. The only difference being, the ROC considers mainland China to be theirs, while the PLA considers Taiwan to be theirs. But basically, BOTH parties consider themselves part of China.

China is the largest trading nation in the world. It is the largest Economy in the world in PPP terms...and likely to be the largest by 2027 in nominal terms. Why is it wrong for the largest economy to have a Military befitting its economic size...or should it still have the military capability of Rwanda..? to be called a Peacefull Country.. China only allocates less than 1.7 % of its GDP to Defense ..less than US 3.4%,India 2.6 % and even Singapore at 3%. The US has chilled NATO countries for spending not enough on their defence and has targetted NATO countries to allocate 2% of their GDP for defence. If this is so ,China in REALITY IS UNDERALLOCATING FUNDS FOR ITS DEFENSE... China has not Fought a Single War or Arm Conflict for the last 45 years and is called a potential war instigator..by the West and its Allies..whereas US and its Allies has been involve in not less than 30?40?Wars...bombings,regime change..etc etc ..in the same 45 years...has a Free Pass... It sure cannot be logical and somehow the West( Superiority complex ?) depict that China ( for the matter of fact India, Indonesia etc ) are not entittle to have the largest military in the world to correspond to its land size, its population, its industrial might,Economy and Trading Scale... If you are the world largest Economy ..why cant you also have the world largest military..to protect your interest? All Superpowers Are Bullies to a certain degree from the Romans to the Spanish ,French ,German ,British, Japan, and US.. But the biggest and scariest difference today is that Superpowers can end the Human specie unilaterally....so lets not provoke and "add wood to the Fire" . We must recognize MULTIPOLARITY and the back and front yard concept for Each superpower ....or we all end up with no YARD.. This is the only Approach for the world to last a few more peacefull generations..before we annihiliate each other..

Tiktok can exist on any kind of website in the form of a Tiktok pixel/tracker, allowing Tiktok to collect data even if you have never used the app. Websites with embedded Tiktok videos can be used to place trackers on devices and steal usernames and passwords, credit card and banking information, and personal health details. TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, could share user data with the Chinese government to spy and spread disinformation. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇺🇦 User Data TikTok Collects * Device of the user * IP address * Mobile carrier * Time zone settings * Model of the user's device * Device system * Network type * Device IDs * Screen resolution * Operating system * App and file names and types * Keystroke patterns or rhythms * Battery state * Audio settings * Connected audio devices * faceprints and voiceprints * Media metadata * Name * Date of birth * Phone number * email 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 The government of Lithuania in Europe has called for a boycott of Chinese smartphones, citing surveillance features. Nobel prize, scientists: 25 Japanese, 2 Taiwanese, 3 Chinese. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 Taiwan "problem" is of utmost concern to Chinese operatives, many of whom are Chinese university students, who carry out the Chinese government-led propaganda "disinformation diffusion operation." Taiwan is one country and not part of China. 🇯🇵🇺🇦🇹🇼🇱🇹🇨🇦🇺🇸🇯🇵 There is no historical record available to show whether China undertook unbroken and continuous sovereignty actions against the Spratly Islands (southern South China Sea) prior to the Japanese occupation in 1939. I've always wondered about the real reasons why the unemployment rate is so high for recent graduates. It's as if the new generation isn't supposed to be going to school to university to find positions in the workforce, they just weren't told this. I wonder how much of this unemployment crisis is by design and for a sinister purpose. Demoralized youth can be highly malleable depending on how an outside party capitalizes on that despair.

@@papabearspitz557 It's a great way for the world to gather intelligence about the PLA while ensuring China's fate is to build a large military. This is what it wants. Because history has shown that economic reality takes hold. A large and expensive army trying to compete with imaginary or real Western inventions: the fall of the USSR and Moscow's Cold War decision to also invade Afghanistan. They had seen Vietnam yet they took the bait. 23:03 And there you have it. Let's let China build lots of expensive to maintain ships with complex systems while we just build overpowered unmanned, modern systems that are cheap. China has a $40m missile designed to take out a carrier. The problem is known to both sides. There isn't a way to get them all. This standoff is pointless to China's interests but it is nonetheless imposed by Xi's own mind unto the Chinese people. So they walk like sheep as the West gets richer and more powerful at the same time having a cause to build a massive; massive force with. America is very good at appearing weak despite being the world's largest economy, military power, etc. And they do this in agreement with dozens of nations. What I mean is... it's not really a fight is it? Look how they played with Cold War technology in the desert like a test run. It's eerie isn't it. Maybe there is truth to saying "America is dangerous" , but what they mean is something like: we need to discuss this in 2050 because a hegemony is being established under the nose of even the PLA and most Americans. I just sit back and watch. You know, it is absurd but you have to admit that this world is a heck of a show.

I love the plaid shirted military analyst, Ni LeXiong's, commentary on the reasons for the PRC's nuclear arsenal expansion. He is, of course, completely correct: Russia has fared poorly in the battlefield but where would it be if it didn't have the world's largest nuclear arsenal? The arsenal alone is the reason why the US keeps having to slap Ukraine on the wrist for its occasional drone strikes in Russia and why the US won't give Ukraine long range missiles or permit it to attack Russian territory. Correction: it is not only Russia's arsenal but its willingness to engage in threatening talk and maneuvers with its nukes, just like the US does. China's no-first-strike rule makes it less threatening.

I’ve been trying to watch various channels to try to make comprehensive understanding of the world. I’ve made many videos teaching Chinese language vividly and in a humorous way. I hope somebody can recommend my videos to those who want to learn Chinese. For beginners, Chinese characters may look complicated. But once you learn about 100 basic radicals, most characters become easy. I hope more people can learn Chinese to get comprehensive firsthand information about China and most likely seek more job opportunities. Know ourselves as well as our partners, competitors, adversaries….. I know It's not easy to reach my target audience, but I'm trying...

What floors me the most about this documentary is how much Xi is interested in the youth and their success, like the father I never had. Hard work is rewarded. Nothing like my American experience. Here in USA hard working young people are just blood meal for the ancient vampires running this country. Success is more determined by wealth and connections at birth than any action we might take. There is zero shared interest, no central planning goes into education. I was a naive young man. I thought my success was linked to my nation when I went to university. Graduated 07 and have never had a job that required the degree. It turns out default on student debt is a desirable thing for USA since it’s “profitable” when people can’t pay back and are trapped as debt slaves for life.

I honestly believed that the amount spent by China in military spending vs the US, is more comprehensive and focus oriented. The PLA doesn't have hundreds of military bases all over the world hence the savings. And the amount of kickbacks in the US military contractors / suppliers is bloating up the US spending. Next, the focus of hypersonic missiles in both PLA and the Russian army would render aircraft carriers obsolete. Thank you, CNA, for the awesome vids. May 2023.

you should know one thing, even during the Tiananmen rebellion, the PLA has never pointed its gun at people, the PLA serves for the party is only because the party was consisted by people and represents the people, I don't wish the foreigners to understand what '颜色革命‘ is, the rebellion just proves two things, back to that time, the people in China were afraid of the US, and they knew the USSR was going to collapse, they felt unsafe that the country can't protect them, even in the party itself, someone suspected if the Communist theory is actually wrong, so they choose to surrender; and another thing has been proved is they were wrong, if the Communist party choose to surrender, the people of China will only become poorer like todays' Africans or other third world countries, remains its role of being world factory without gaining any kind of progress in technology or military, the history of brave Chinese people fighting against Japanese during WWII will be demonized, and the oversea Chinese will never have the confidence to do something in either international affairs or daily life.

Rubbish. This is a biased media. A dog of the west, just as what Singapore is beyond the facade.

its called the US want to be in unilateral system instead of multilateral system. i.e. no #2 nations that should come close to its own control of world dominance.
