Inside California’s $18 Million Invisible Home

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We travelled to Joshua Tree National Park in California to check out one of the craziest homes we have ever seen. The ‘Invisible House’ is worth $18 million and has been stayed in by the likes of Lizzo, Demi Lovato, and Diplo.
Sergi tours the incredible home which sits on 90 acres of private land, and comes with a 100-foot heated swimming pool. And yes you can even rent to stay in it just like the celebs! Let us know what you think in the comments.

I just don't know why you'd take anything he says seriously - he sounds learning-impaired, with no adult vocabulary. "Pretty cool", "Freaking cool", "Cool", "Like, immaculate", "Awesome", "Pretty much", "Very..... immaculate", "Bespoke - _specifically..._ "; "Bespoke - just for the house.." [?]; "Like a kinda like a Barbie-doll kinda...shower?"; "Alien" - [an obvious bunch of sofas are not, "alien", to me, but WTF by this point]....... When it's his turn, they should rename the channel, 'Supercar Dupercar: Duhhhh'.

That window mirrored tint only works during the day, and as seen in the pictures, it is seen through at night when interior lights are on... However, I would invest more money to make that mirrored tint works at night too. it is very simple actually, just keep a light source turned on against the glass walls and it will mirror like during the day, keeping the interior privacy while you can stargaze at night unconcerned with interior privacy, and overall that is my kind of house to live, totally minimalistic and nature infused. Love it!

Some people can afford to make and/or buy houses like this yet, I've not seen anyone try to make a house or building using similar techniques to look like a space craft. Doesn't need to look like a flying saucer thing, more like something from Star Wars, Star Trek, or other films and video games about space travel.

This house is very much defined in opposition to the environment rather than working with it. Another commenter has stated that he sometimes delivers fast food there which is not surprising because that kitchen is the least homely and most sterile that I have ever seen which makes the chemistry glassware quite apt. 🙂 The building might make an interesting exhibition space, if it wasn't in the middle of nowhere. Powering loads of dehumidifiers just so you can have an inside pool is ridiculous. I think it's silly to go to war with the environment rather than finding an elegant compromise with it, because the environment will always win in the end.

The house would be more invisible if the edges were not so angular and straight. A little roughness on the edges, more like a rock, would make it disappear better. But inside it's scary. One sock on the floor, one apple core, a beer can left on the counter would be seen from one end of the house to the other. And who cleans the place? Those mirrors have to be polished constantly. It might work as an Airbnb, but home sweet home it is not.

This house reminds me of a new apt complex I recently visited. Everything was square, gray and lifeless. I told the leasing manager it reminded me of a mental institution. I suggested they add some plants and artwork. He was dumbfounded. This house is not just ugly it's actually violent against the human spirit. Let the aliens have it...

This house is stunning and is designed to embrace the desert, you probably have stuff like "kiss the cook" and "bubble time" from Big lots or Dollar General in your kitchen and bathroom 😂🙄. That being said i guess there's nothing wrong with being a simpleton who can't appreciate amazing design.

@@Jacob-ed1bl I don't know what "kiss the cook" and "bubble time" are but if you want to be a sarcastic architectural scholar be my guest. I was giving my honest opinion. It's basically a cold glass shipping container in the desert. Perfect for some but hellish for most humans.

@freedone. Yes, having an indoor swimming pool with all the modern conveniences and an amazing view of the desert is a "hellish" for most 🤣🙄. Nice conclusion you pulled from your butt 🤣. You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to ridicule it, even more so after this comment. The fact that you're comparing it to a shipping container tells me everything I need to know about you and your knowledge on the subject. Enjoy your copyright ranch home if you even own a home at all.
