"It's the party at the end of the world and also still an extraordinary piece of political theater." - Olivier Award-winning director Rebecca Frecknall on creating the new Cabaret for Broadway.

It's amazing walking into that theater. The entrance is so seedy and secretive. The event starts before the show does!

I’ve seen the London show twice and it was amazing both times. The setting was wonderful, and you are fully immersed in the show!

Tom Scutt should have stuck to the scenic design, at most. The "costumes" for the Emcee and the actress playing Sally Bowles look ridiculous and distracting. The theater-in-the-round concept is annoying as well, I would say this show works better with a platform stage like in a club or maybe a thrust stage. What was the director thinking? I regret having to say it but they should have brought in other people who knew better how to serve the characters and content of this show.

The costumes and sets are supposed to be uncomfortable, that’s the whole point
