i strongly disagree. AD has shown so many celeb homes that are beautiful and colourful that fit who they are. They choose to show those types of houses, I think the only neutral and very minimalistic home was Kim Kardashian.

Ron and his wife did a great job raising Bryce. She is very talented and humble. She and her husband have created a unique home with personally and carefully curated items. She looks exactly like her Mum and dad.

I love that the furniture is from stores I’ve heard of. While pricey, it makes me think it’s attainable. Moreover, love all the sustainable and mission driven products and companies that are supported. The dining room is exquisite and my favorite.

I just love her taste.... Retro futurism, Miyazaki, cubism, watercolor, nature, Organic as well as contrasting style, you don't get bored with collage of different styles.

I am loving this use of pink as a neutral throughout the house. It has a really special, unexpected feel to it, yet it's not overbearing.

Strange to watch this strong, smart woman give a tour of her home and to reflect that she is the daughter of Ron Howard, who was Opie Griffith and now a renowned director, and she too is a gifted actor and director extending this family legacy and talent pool!

I love the environment conscious renovation they did: not throwing all the old stuff out but actually working with it, e.g. the kitchen cupboards or the tiling in the bath. And they don’t look like they have collected „stuff“ because they can afford it, but rather choose carefully what to collect instead of excessive indulging.

While not at all my style, or how I’d want to decorate my (dream) home, their home is absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully put together & thought through. Unique, yet warm & inviting. Love it!

They are such a cute couple. They really won me over with the incorporation of “nerd culture” items, like the things that they said evoke the Star Trek: TNG, Star Wars and Jurassic World. Every aspect also displayed so much thought and care, and kudos to her choosing socially responsible companies for many elements. It’s such a warm and colorful home.

Also Bryce is BEAUTIFUL Like out of a 1950’s Modern Housewife Magazine Beautiful The Dress, Hair, Humor and Humility It’s GIVINNNNGGG !!! 💞💞💞

Bryce's home is on another level of beautiful~ cozy~ comfortable~inviting .. Generously sized with all the treasures within her home... PHENOMENAL ADDITION TO ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST

This is a fun balance of eclectic but practical. Every place looks amazing and like a statement piece but also you can just cozy up. Also love Seth Gabel, so happy he made a little appearance.

Not my colour scheme or decor themes.. but I adore that they made it truly theirs and all things they love!! I love all the thought and passion they put into doing it right and responsible as well!! It's very charming and looks super cozy. Made me laugh that the daughter does not like pink.. when the whole interior and exterior of the house is pink! I am glad she gave her daughter her choice to opt out of her parents chosen colour scheme and themes in her own room. I am a minimalist myself.. so I would need my own space in that home to be dialed down too!!! haha Gorgeous home!

The Bryce Dallas Howard-directed episodes of The Mandalorian were THE BEST! Her place is gorgeous, but I HAD to personally publicly acknowledge how her perspective as a director is legit GROUNDBREAKING!!!

This is one of the few homes I've seen on Architectural Digest that I love. Each room is fun and the couple are so sweet together. Sending loving thoughts to everyone.

What a stunning place, so many of these celebrity’s homes are often beautiful but cold but this is homey. You feel like you could relax there.

She’s a treasure, like her dad. Love peering into her wonderful space!

Also the episodes she directed of the mandalorian were consistently my favourites. She leaned into the narrative of the father-child relationship between Mando and Grogu (baby yoda). As a mother I think her own love for her children was infused into her direction and I was really able to connect with those themes. It gave heart to the series.

Oh, I love how she ties in her "work/directing" into her home. It gives you a sense of how appreciative she is of everything she has done/been in.

They created a true love story with their space - an ode to their relationship, their careers, the environment. Intentional design decisions made, they truly cared about the home they were creating.

Great house. I love how house it's so personal to them and how conscientious they are about the products they use and who they choose to support. Bryce seems so fun and down to earth. I think I'm going to go and binge watch all her work now.

I hope this is the home they plan to spend the rest of their lives in, because they've made it so personal that trying to recreate it somewhere else would be such a chore, it'd seemingly take all the joy out of living at their next residence.

First, he called out Star Trek, Next Gen. 10 points. Then Neo Futurism, 10 more points. As a former cyberpunk flash devotee, I can relate, especially in the Japanese adaptation of the genre. The eclectic design, without the normal boring single theme, stale oatmeal colored...everything, makes this house fun. It matches the personality of its residents. Sweet couple, putting their money where their advocacy is.

You can tell the care that was put into every little corner of that house, and how involved they were on that. Fascinating to watch

While not my color palette I love this house because it is filled with their personalities and showcases things that mean something to their life story like the tulip and dinosaur wallpapers. It's not pretentious whatsoever and has normal sized rooms meant for actual living. I love that their bathroom is also not gargantuan and that they share it. But my favorite part is definitely the moody wallpaper in the dining room. Gorgeous! Well done

The terrazzo and brick were great. Liked the tour. I'm older and didn't care for the 80s look the first time around 4 decades ago, but she really nailed it. I do appreciate that.

I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't this! I LOVED her home tour. Also, can we talk about how well her hair matched her home? Not only is Bryce just beautiful anyway, but the entire color palette of her home really highlighted the color of her hair, especially the teal/blue rooms. That color suits her so much. I love it when AD showcases a home that is full of colour and personality! I would say my favourite is the forest room, as the wallpaper is exquisite. It looks like a hand-painted mural. The brass ceiling is gorgeous too. I also love the main bathroom, the tile is perfect. I’m becoming such a fan of Bryce Dallas Howard! Her Mandalorian episodes are great and it’s beautiful that she gives a nod to Star Wars and Jurassic World in their home. It shows that she is passionate about her work. Also, she has an infectious laugh!

The dinosaur and tulip wallpaper is wonderful. The entry lighting looks crocheted. Does look like coral. Dining room wallpaper was gorgeous. Much less excited about the 80s prints. This house goes with her coloring.

I love their office- it is very futuristic and post designed 60s. They definitely got the retro future vibe they were looking for. All her Lightology fixtures are very modern. Her living room sofa is beautiful and will hold a lot of folks. Loving it! I like the fact that they support a lot of companies that help keep our world a better place. I love how whimsy and boho their home is! It is every bit a beautiful ode to their aura and creative sides! This works in an unexpected way. I especially love how her dinosaurs wallpaper was so tastefully incorporated!

I love the stories behind why they made certain choices - small businesses, sustainability, durability, a reflection of their relationship, California-ness, and relationships with certain creators like Katie Kimmel (that garlic dish!). Is it out of reach for most people? Sure. But is it over-the-top custom high end designer stuff that’s too precious to be used? No. Nicely done 💯

Love that this house has so much personality! Quirky, interesting, unique, bold and fun.

I adore her retro home and her obsession with Mandalorian. Her episodes were some of the best! Also love that she knows the story behind every piece of furniture and every tile.
