The world is reigned by kings, always was. Individuals and families that have more money that one can imagine. You never can earn that amount of money. When automation takes over, they won't allow the human cattle to procreate uncontrolled. There'll be an elite population of maybe a few million living in heaven on earth. It'll be also better for mother earth I guess.

That’s why most big Chinese branding companies like Xiaomi, Huawei, Xpeng, ….they follow Elon Musk’s steps closely. When Elon take any actions, Chinese rivals will copy and paste to their roadmap. US companies can make new thing happen (zero to 1) and Chinese ones are good at copying to 100 from 1 or 10.

There will be both terminator robots used in the military field and domestic robots used in people's homes. There will also be robots in factories performing repetitive/boring/harmful tasks for humans. There will be all shades just like any other technology. But if you are not willing to accept some negative aspects, you cannot enjoy the enormous positive ones.

Maybe a dumb question, are these and their parts 100% recyclable? So often have we seen products been pushed on the markets only to later see them end up in landfills. A lot of good materials will end up in these robots, could we maybe regulate and norm the extraction of those.

Idk, for sure. But I don't think you need to worry about it. These are most likely going to be long living, repairable and updatable products. The parts mostly made out of plastics or aluminum. Compared to other sources of garbage in simply not going to be much. People will also prefer the older models to be handed down to them, instead of going into the landfill, or at least getting the parts to repair their own. The biggest issue might be multi-material parts. I don't think this can be completely avoided. Burning such parts might make more sense than trying to recycle them. Mobile devices are being thrown out so much because electronics, screen and batteries are closely integrated into a small form factor.

@@NoidoDev Not sure if they have comparable or better cpu's as smartphones, but i would assume they are at least equivalent. Therefor rare earths are used. Already ressource extraction companies are scrambling to get onto the bottom of the occean to clean out rare earths there and leave behind a wasteland. Anything we build we should build in a way so we can get ressources easily back aka recycling. Not a novel concept by now one would think, but it is expensiv and therefor companies need to be made to keep that in mind at times otherwise they produce for landfills and the costs for that they don't have to carry.

Every day Elon looks more like Elizabeth Holmes. Like, he already did not deliver FSD to people that paid $10K for the service. Its been so long some of them are dead today. I am not saying he can't deliver. I am saying he will deliver late and probably at the aame time as the rest of the industry. Tesla was a luck and BTW he is not the founder of Tesla. He smartly con the owners of the company out.

Why not Tesla is worth $700 billion. Elon actually makes things He's an incredible entrepreneur. He knows how to build factories unlike anyone in the US. Not outsourcinf like GM Tesla is the most American car company with all their cars being 95% made in the USA and spaceX makes their metal alloys I actually agree with Elon's vision. Why would Nvidia hold the attention when Tesla makes chips like Nvidia and share the same partner TSMC Use your brain and think over 20 years If Tesla makes electric motors. How could a startup compete with Tesla or Hyundai who owned Boston dynamics You need a production line to make castings, motors and actuator's and chips

Most people believe this because Chinese self driving tech is not as widely reported as Tesla, but trust me, Tesla isn't far ahead of Chinese competition in self driving technology lol. You can easily confirm this yourself... Just look up Huawei's self driving technology, and just look at how amazing the technology is. And Huawei isn't the only Chinese company developing self driving technology, a whole bunch of Chinese cars have this technology...
