    Badr just has the same issue as all big successful fighters... Its very hard to stop, especially when you can make so much money from having "just one more" fight. He has such a huge following and people almsot expect him to transform back in to 20's Badr in the ring, but it isnt going to happen. Hes done his time and his body has had enough, theres zero shame in that, it happens to everyone. He should focus on pther things, maybe bring up some young fighters of his own or start some brands, he has so much popularity he can be successful from that for the rest of his life.

    He underestimated Uku completely - the guy is a power house. Badr would be better off against Mcsweeney. I knew it from the start of the announcement. These eastern-europe boys want to make out a name for themselfs. You do that by beating folks like badr.

  • @PepijnSchoemakerWebinars

    @PepijnSchoemakerWebinars

    I'm afraid that was the only time he really, kind of, prepared for this fight... (based on how he looked and fought in the ring). He completely underestimated his opponent. Maybe never even studied Uku's earlier fights. Somehow I can understand. He still lives in the thoughts: 'nobody ever has been as good as I am'. In the mean time, all those years, unfortunately for him, every kickboxer evolved while Badr stayed and enjoyed his own 'best of the world' dreamlive... If he steps ups his game, he still can be there...

  • @vanderlinde4you

    @@PepijnSchoemakerWebinars Badr was sleeping for too long. And his history does'nt make him a populair fighter either. If he wants to get back, i'd say 24/7 devotion to kickboxing and training again. He has his age and time against him compared to these younger, faster and sometimes stronger fighters. At best he might make it again to the top 3 board of Glory - but a match against Rico, Jamal or any other high skilled and lasting fighter is pretty much out of the question. Badr has a weak chin - it takes one good punch and he's wobbling on his feet. Everyone knows this by now.

    what made Hari successful in his early career was his aggression. His new style of methodical fighting is what brings him these failures. I know, his age does not allow for that explosive style anymore, but that's what made him successful. Maybe it's time to hang the gloves :(

  • @user-rl4jn2je1l

    @user-rl4jn2je1l

    That's not true. Hari used to be very good at picking his opponets apart early in his career( before 2009). Even later on he showed this ability, ( londt , Rico 1, even First 5 minutes against overeem). However, now he gases out and can't take adversity at all. Also his counter punch ability is gone as well and he doesn't stay tight enough nor with his defence or his own attacks. In this fight with UKU he actually fought too aggressive. If you watch uku fights, uku has little to no ability to land anything unless you are the aggressor. Hari should have used this superiour reach, height, footwork and straight punches to stay on the outside and pick him apart. Anyway, even though he should have beaten uku if he fought smart, he ain't beating anyone legit. He should retire.

    The reality is at 38 you might be still young & strong for alot of things but you re considered old for others like pro competition when Hari fought and defeated Peter Aerts Hari was 24 and Peter was 38. So age and add to that the after effects of steroid use on the body & the chin. Its best to retire in dignity before he gets labelled "washed up fighter" the last things you want is to turn to The Tony Ferguson of Glory.
