Alistair used excellent tactics, he shortened the distance and, with atypical changes of guards in the attack, constantly exerted pressure from the clinch, which did not suit Harry, who began to lose air towards the end of the first round. His blows quickly lost their power and it is a miracle that he met the end on his feet. Unfortunately, Badr Hari was not physically prepared enough for this kind of fight and probably could not have been better prepared. The body simply stopped following and listening as it used to. Earlier fights remain as a reminder of great champions.

He probably would have knockout him if the referee didnt chill out during counting the 1st KD. So, Overeem victory may be deserved yes... I'm bias as I always love The Reem, even though Badr displayed much better skill in his fight imho, but objectively speaking, the ref is bias asf. Hopefully, the judges gave him to the Reem. Both of these men were so much better than most of the world's heavyweight kickboxers ever get to be. Head and shoulders above. The best, at one time. That said, these guys shouldn't be put into positions to get brutally KO'd anymore. Both of these men have taken extreme punishment in the ring. They are true legends. We need to protect our legends. Our sport does not lend well to old age. I don't want to see these guys die young.
