There is something to be said for the layout/design of homes from the previous century. Yes, their esthetic was different, yes "open concept" was not in vogue. But EVERY surface in this place has quality, there are no half measures. I think the right buyer for his home is out there.

Yikes! 😮 just realized the other bedrooms ( with exception of the primary bedroom ) has no windows, only the bathrooms attached. The two offices has windows with a scenic view. Such a strange layout & design..

I agree, I don’t like bedrooms without windows, I may be a little claustrophobic but I need to see outside.

It's definitely not for everyone.

Beautiful home. While the sliders are nice, I would have liked a wood frame, just to match the rest of the home. With those high ceilings, I would think you wouldn’t need to run the a/c all that much.

This place is crazy cool! I have a large family, this is how you accommodate and separate from them!lol! The kitchen is amazing, but that master bedroom is extremely incredible! Great video Mike!

OK, I wrote a nice paragraph only to have the connection drop, Yes to everything you said. I love this spa pool. are there jets in the water? I would want bubbles for achy bodies, so I would add that off the master. As long as I can catch that view! That little "valley" that you look down into is a nice view. Love the use of wood. The "H" design is interesting and I liked it. But a house and out door area that large needs a good out door kitchen, The gas bar-b-q seen out side of the house on the side by the kitchen just seemed out of place. Love the Kitchen. And they are throwing in the Tesla? Well that would be sweet.

What ?? $7.5 million and no outdoor kitchen/bbq, fridge, or shower amenities. Swim treadmill is disappointing also.

Hey Mike. It would be helpful to say what Island the property is on. Also is it the windward or leeward side of the Island. I have only been to Hawaii once back in the 80"s and I don't have a clue what Island the property is on. Anyway lots of nice properties.

If they are HOA fees, will you be stop from adding on further additions to house or changing the color of the house paint on the outside? Always hearing horror stories about HOA’S

HOA fees are $900/month. The benefit of being in a resort node is that you can rent it short term if you want to. Otherwise it is a 6 month minimum (soon with new legislation).

It's a serious HOA with $5-$30M homes. They have an architectural review committee.

Good video as always Mike, just not the style for my Hale; too "Soulless Resort Architechure." The sense of flow is lacking within the wings, the Kitchen is isolated from the rest of the ohana spaces, even its windows face...a hedge? The office nooks are too narrow for anything other than "Zoom" calls. For $7.5 million I want those money views in more than one specific direction; it appears to me from viewing the landscape from the building interiors, the property is "Hedged In," quite literally so I can only surmise that the asking price is due to the Mauna Kea Resort's "unbeatable amentities." No thank you.

Another great Mike video as always IMHO: Good home I suppose if you are going to have clients over. Otherwise, it is not classy or classic. Too many doors and not good ones like floor to ceiling fleetwood doors. No yard. No surf views. No pantry. If the doors were at least fancy or unique or stunning, but no. Nothing wowed me about this home. No special or unique woods or stone or design or any spice at all. This $7.5 million dollar home has zero wow factor. Totally not worth $7.5. IMHO that is 😋

You are paying for the Mauna Kea location, which is very rare.

Nice video! ❤ Are there any HOA fee’s? What are the club fees? Will you automatically be invited to join the club at resort with purchase of property? …. Architecturally not my style, but considering when it was designed and built years & years ago, this much older layout might have been popular. Looks like a wonderful area to live 😊 if only I could afford it 🥹

There are hoa fees of $900/month. The club membership is optional, and also not invite only like some other ones here in Hawaii.
