The best bit of this house , is the outdoor

Fairfield House first came onto the market as a brand new home on 12.03.2012 with s guide price of £6.5m but was reduced in price to £6.25m before the current owner made an offer in November 2012. I've always liked this property and Applegate has an unrivalled reputation for building some amazing homes, many of which are on the Wentworth Estate. What this video tour gives that pictures alone don't is a real sense of the size and scale of the rooms, with great ceiling heights and what feels like vast open spaces. This house has huge potential to build an indoor swimming pool on the rear of the property where the current outdoor pool sits, and then furnish the property throughout using the services of a stunning interior designer, and you have a perfect family home fit for entertaining and luxury living on a grand scale.

@@maverickmyers1089 Custom hard wood furnishings, custom kitchen, natural stone flooring, wall panelling, custom doors and a mansard roof. None of the things I just listed are easy nor cheap to be modified or removed, the roof concerns alone could easily be a five digits job to fix if the roof hasn't had constant maintenance in the last decade, giving that mansard roofs are notorious for leakages and structural issues. With the amount of custom expensive furnishings inside that property, any restyling would be expensive and arduous work for something different. That's also without considering the fees and effort from a designer/architect to redesign the interiors into something modern without wasting the perfectly good craftsmanship used with the custom interior. As I said, anyone who doesn't like this older design will have to perform a major renovation to change it.

I love Surrey England, the homes are so beautiful and they look peaceful.

I like it. We have a lot of the Georgian style here in New England. It's grand yet gracious and live-able. The backyard could use some additional decor but otherwise a good use of space & interesting decor without being overbearing or weird.

Huge and sunny everywhere. The interiors carry the 80s vibe not to my liking, but where is the floor plan ? your presentation is very nice but never complete without a floor plan.

Love these videos love how they're maonly 15 to 20 minutes. And this house took some daring chances with the chocolate brown. Colour for the cabinets in the kitchen, nit sure ud have the courage 😂

I know there are people who enjoy this, but I much prefer the episodes that show attainable homes. A lot more than I enjoy tasteless opulence.

Lovely home just needs a little update to make it sellable if that is their deal. Home not used optimal as it could be including I agree with those who say the pool needs a room heated and usable all year round. A gym wouldn't go amiss either. That principle room is huge could have fitted more furnishing. Kitchen felt a bit dark with that type and colour but might have been the camera angles. Lovely to see Jas and company and Frank the dog. Easy mistake with the shower I would have thought it wasn't motion sensor too. A floral garden would have made it nicer. Well done on showing and presentation.

Love this house, I would include the decor downstairs in the price, home will need deep cleaning and refreshing because of the dog, dogs do leave odours in homes

I find the proportions of those very large rooms disturbing due to the disproportionally low ceiling heights.

Interior is spectacular the brown kitchen is so practical then those white panels, I would say the best part of the kitchen is the gas stove too every part of the interior is define and so much better then the moden cold look that seems to be used nowadays any one who says it needs to be redecorated have no idea what class is

Lovely exterior but the godawful interior. Was the owner an amateur hack, reluctant to hire anyone remotely talented? I just gotta say Frank, the Chow, was the highlight of the tour.

Never bother with an outside swimming pool in UK. You can use it maybe 2 weeks a year, then an expensive duck pond.

Hmm.. what about the structure? I bet it’s the cheapest materials available. Minimal soundproofing. Probably start falling to bits in 10 years. Not only that, it looks old fashioned already.

The wooden floors are gorgeous, the exterior is beautiful, but the modern furniture is ghastly! Chandeliers are lovely, and the kitchen is really nice and big,dining table soo ugly and cheap lookng, down lighting is a no no. In short this once lovely home lacks character and ambiance. All the modern furnishings are bland and cheap looking. Modern bathrooms are good. NO CUPBOARDS! Ugly bedrooms, lacking any form of cosiness , extremely un inviting, lacks taste. I can’t believe what has been done to the interior of this home.
