Such a disgrace to see a magnificent mansion torn down after being so lovingly cared for.

This house was just completely demolished this week. Absolute disgrace, the fact that such a beautiful home was demolished proves how corrupt the city council is for passing permits.

Indeed. Ethan Minnie has the still shots of the demolition of the house on his KZread. He even have a pic of everything gone except the basement walls. Sad.

Just imagine being that guy and hearing or seeing one day that the previous home you restored and spent so much time, money and efforts on is now all a huge hole in the ground, demolished. Such a shame. This home had such an illustrious past, too. He should've just kept it, clearly he could afford it! :)

Of course this house would be one of the most expensive homes in Canada, and my dream home. Sigh.

Beautiful house.

I feel so bad for the owners who had to sell and watch this home become abandoned then be tragically torn down. Just watching the videos of the home right before the reconning ball...... such a sin. As a child, remember & love this home in "it takes two". It's a disgrace... especially seeing the tragedy of the new homes they build in the area, cough cough... drake. What is he trying to replicate, Foxwood Casino meets marble yard meets Trump Caesar with a hint of Harrods . For a home built in the 80s they did such a great job. A simple update wouldn't of been so hard. :(

beautiful house, sold in 2020 and is being demolished in 2022 with in the month. sad still a great looking house but i guess the new owners want something bigger and better.

The person isn’t actually gonna build something new… it’s gonna remain empty like the lot next door. Absolute shame. It proves how corrupt city council is when it comes to permits for the rich

@@STXVIEC yeah I totally agree with you! It is truly awful , and it sickens me that the current owner decided to demolish this house! It’s nothing short of a tragic waste, and I highly doubt we will ever see another house like this one built in Toronto 😔...Also, do you know the owner? If so, do you know what the owner is planning on doing with the property?

@@retartedfreak no. I heard that as well. That was just rumours. Going to be a huge home. However 90,000sqft is the size of the Versailles mansion in Florida. Which is the largest by far home in the entire USA. That would be literally double the size of drakes bridle path house. I heard this one is going to be between 30,000-50,000SQFT. Big commercial drywall contractor is the one that purchased this place.

@@FBG_SOLDIER It's hardly horrific. I would change some esthetics like the pool room, but this film is a very poor showing of the house and I don't know why they used it. The rooms overall, are actually quite elegant. It's supposed to look old, because it is old and many people like the stateliness and grandeur of classic homes. Modern glitzy and gold toilets is for the tacky nouveau riche - ugh...

@@hilaryc3203 the floor, walls, and ceiling are all white. The furniture is very old, maybe expensive, but who really cares because it’s ugly as hell lol. Idk, if I was gonna drop 14 mil, i think I would get something else more modern, or just fix up that house
