Definitely learning more and more from your videos Dan. We're also in Savannah and launch mainly from Butterbean. I'm definitely figuring a way to get on more inshore fish with our deep v. Our draft is more like 24"!

Another fine video. Dan, you might make some comments as you fish regarding depths you are throwing to, and what is considered lots of current, as it is hard to see the bait move laterally in the video. I fish the creeks just over the border north and they rip an hour after low. At 10' depth we have to move to 3/8 or heavier to stay close to the bottom.

You guys make some great videos! I've been trying to get into redfish and trout from my kayak but I've only caught a few small trout from Demere's creek in Richmond Hill. Do you guys have any suggestions of other places that produce fish that are accessible by kayak?

Hey Robbie, thanks is for the encouragement. I use Shrimp, Blue Crab and Mullet. I haven’t seen one work better over the other. I just grab what’s available at the time.

Trailer Park Slam shirt needs to happen!! Lol. Also, you use ProCure a lot. Is there a specific scent that you use or does it vary?

I honestly don’t think it matters as long as it’s natural to the region. Shrimp, blue crab, mullet, pilchard. I’ve used them all

Hey man!!! love watching the skinny fishing. Quick question. How do you like your mako pro skiff? Im looking for a decent reliable boat to run in shallow water. My wife and I just bought some land on a shallow creek so I'm looking for something to get us out to the bay. And how shallow have you gone in? Any info would be great. Keep up the great videos!!!

Hey Travis, my Mako ProSkiff is a good boat. It has an 8 inch draft and I have absolutely put that to the test. The biggest issue I run into with that hull is that (altho very stable) it will sit down in the mud very quick due to the inverted design. Some shallow water boats you’re able to rock back-and-forth and wiggle your way thru shallow water but once this boat sits down you are stuck. The over craftsmanship of the boat could have been a little better but it’s a great boat in that price point. Are there better boats? Yes there is always a better boat but the deal I got on that boat was too good to pass up on. I run a 40 mercury on mine and it gets great gas mileage along with 30 mph top end. With two portable 6 gallon tanks I am able to run all weekend on one fill up. I will have that boat one more full season and then I will step up into a different style boat in 2022.

Is this down in Darien Ga ? If so could anyone provide me some tips and fishing around there and potential places to go , I’m a student at Ga southern and plan to make a trip down there these next few weeks for my birthday . I got some popping corks and some top water mirrolures and spooks and stuff for trout and reds , I’m very familiar with saltwater fishing just not around this area. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the support brother. I’m a huge Zman fan. That was the New Penny ShrimpZ paired with the 1/6oz ChinlockZ. Procure Shrimp scent was used too.
