After creating my button and trying it in preview it tells me "You need to be running inside a web browser in order to submit this form" I am wanting to create this for others to submit to our co. I don't have outlook on my computer. How can I make it work for others no matter what email platform they use?

On a PC it works great, on a MAC, when you hit the button it just sits there. A second question is there a way to have them hit submit and it just goes directly to me without having to click through on the email?

Is there any way, to open an e-mail preset with object, e-mail addresses, body's e-mail and attachmentS too? Meaning: you button should have a Javascript code able to link files from your PC directly as attachments of the e-mail ?

I have created the fillable PDF with a submit button. On a PC it works great, on a MAC, when you hit the button it just sits there. A second question is there a way that you can hit the submit button and they don't see the email to hit send, it would just send? Thank you. Great Video.

If I create a form and save the template on my computer, can I send out in an email from my computer and have it be able to always be sent back to me with the submit button? Many thanks for the video! Basically everything works very well. But unfortunately there is a problem when you put the PDF on a web page. When the user clicks on it, it opens in a new browser window. Filling in the form is then possible without any problems, but the submit button is then inactive!

Works for me unfortunately one of my clients has Adobe Reader only and says when he hits the Submit button it does nothing. Is this a Reader problem or a user problem? Thanks

Hello, how do we protect the form so it is still fillable.

My form is telling me bad parameter..what does that mean? What do I need to do? THANK YOU!

I did everything as instructed and had no problems until the very end when selecting Microsoft Outlook. There was a pop up that said: You need to create a Microsoft Outlook profile in Microsoft Windows. Go to the control panel panel and open mail. (which I did) Click show profiles and them click add. I clicked add , and entered my email address that I normally use in Outlook. I then went to preview to test the submit button. Another pop up appeared with the following message: An error occurred while sending mail. If you are not sure how to proceed further, you can save your form and return it manually using your Internet email service. I have Outlook 365 and host with Go Daddy. What is the fix?? Hello - Microsoft Word is primarily designed for word processing and document creation so it would not support what you are trying to do very well. You can use Word to insert hyperlinks and images in your documents but it does not have the tools to create a functioning web based shopping cart with dynamic content, interactivity, and other features. I would suggest checking out Jotform: www.jotform.com/pricing/? or if you need to set up a web-based form, you can look at Microsoft Forms or Google Forms. what if your customer/client/contact doesn't have outlook? i tried selecting gmail and i continually get :Error Form data cannot be submitted to provided server. Please help, this is a huge issue with the form i spent 40 hours designing for our customers. we share the file, customers then open and need to check boxes to select the work they want done and send the file back.

Hello, yes you should be able to do this with these steps: After choosing "Submit a form" Click on the "Add" button to configure the submission action. In the "Submit Form" dialog box, choose "URL" from the "Submit to" dropdown menu. In the "URL" field, enter the URL email link for your PayPal button. This link typically starts with "mailto:" and includes the email address and any additional parameters specific to your PayPal configuration. For example, the link may look like this: mailto:customer@example.com?subject=Order&body=Please%20proceed%20to%20PayPal%20to%20complete%20the%20payment. Customize the subject and body of the email message as needed, providing instructions for the customer to proceed to PayPal for payment. Click "OK" to save the changes. Now, when a customer fills out the form and clicks the button, it will trigger the "Submit a form" action and open the default email client on their device with the PayPal email link populated. The customer can then proceed to PayPal using the provided link to complete the payment. Hello! Yes, you can have form fields auto populate in Acrobat. If you select a form field, copy it and then paste and place it somewhere else in the document, you'll notice it gets auto named as the same name with a number. Then when you test the form, you'll see that whatever the user fills in, it will auto populate all the other copied form fields with the same field name. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
