I am 82yrs old and managed to get 8. One of the most challenging quizzes ever. Not filled with inane pop or sports stars that are here today and gone tomorrow.

Agreed, that was a reasonable all around quiz.I was pretty shocked at some of them that I wasn't sure on, but knew 5 of them for sure.Maybe when I turn 82 (if I get that far) I will manage 8.But I had absolutely no clue on 5 of them.

I'm a 60 year old woman.. I also got 8 of them, and If I just would have not second guessed myself on 2 of the questions, I would have had 10 of them correct. :P

I'm a similar age and got 7 and agree about unnecessary facts about "stars".

Glad they gave relatively complete answers so we can at least learn from the exercise.

I’m 70, left school at 15, retired at 53 and got 8/15. Quite happy with that score.

I’m nearly 79 and had a good education, but I only got about 5. Hard quizzes are much more fun though, you learn from them. Thank you.

I'm 54 with only a HS Diploma and I squeezed six correct answers. This IS a difficult quiz but interesting, informative, and fun!

I’m 57 with no qualifications but managed to also get six correct but by sheer guess work. If there hadn’t been multiple answers to choose from I would have got none right.

I must admit I missed most of them, but I learned interesting info I didn’t know. Thank you, was a lot of fun!

I wasn't interested in most categories. So boring to me, and they didn't cover the fields I know best so I got only 5. But I played a synthesizer along with the music, so maybe I didn't concentrate. Usually I run the board on Jeopardy.

I'm 73, a nurse and have a master's degree and I sucked big time at this. I even missed the sneeze question. Hats off to the brainiacs here. Had fun!

I agree, it was fascinating to see the answers to the ones I got wrong. Never too old to learn something.

Pushing 70 here, and I got 6, suggesting that age is helpful in general knowledge quizzes. The quiz was also well paced so I never felt pressed to aswer quickly, providing opportunity for reflection. An old fart brain, given time to process a question, is a bottomless font of trivial knowledge. So although I didn't get a passing grade, it wasn't particularly difficult.

I’m 60 years young, and got 12/15. I changed my mind on one question, which I originally had correct. Always go with your first instinct. I love these type of quizzes, where broad based knowledge enhances your ability to make smart decisions. Great quiz! Best regards from a former Princeton Tiger.

Fascinating information! I only got 4 right.

Excellent quiz. Most trivia quizzes on youtube have me rolling my eyes. I got 4, admittedly 2 by guessing. The champagne is still on me.

Okay! I got 9, so I'm pretty happy. The thing about getting on in years is that you tend to pick up all kinds of weird and wonderful bits of knowledge. It's fun to find some use for it all.

Yes but I now have So much useless knowledge that it takes me a minute to filter through all the data I've stored in the personal computer of My Brain. 😊✌️

Usually these kinds of quizzes exaggerate how hard they will be. This was tricky...only got 5 right and I typically am really good a trivia. Good job.

Only got 3 right, and I was totally guessing. Fun! Thanks for sharing.

oI was taught very early in high school that on multiple choice questions, if you guess you will be right much more often than wrong because often the brain can follow the path of the guess.

Very difficult. I got eleven correct, so I get to be snarky. I am 73 and went to school when education in this country actually worked. Also we were encouraged to engage in life-long learning, instead of parking our asses in front of the TV -- or now our phones.

Amen to all you wrote. I, too, got 1o correct, and I am 71. I remember when the educational system in this God-blessed nation was really special, before liberal unions got a hold of it and began to turn our schools into liberal, Democrat indoctrination centers.

From your reply I deduced that you are a USA citizen, and you complain about current schools. I live in arkest Africa where education is rudimentary at best. A current survey indicated that 40 % of our Grade 6 teachers can only read and do Math at Grade 4 level. 82yr old auto didact.

Fun quiz! DEFINITELY a good challenge! I love the trivia info follow up. That always drove me nuts in Trivial Pursuit when I wanted to know more about the answer. Not as big a deal now with the internet and smart phones, but back in the day it could be very frustrating. :) Thanks for the quiz!

I am 72 and scored 10. In the past I was unbeaten at Trivial Pursuit for many years!

I am more than happy with my 10/15 !! #7 I once had a 2 hour change over in that airport and believe me I needed the full 2 hours to do it !!!

I am 43 and I got five correct. I would love to see more quizzes like this .

I’m 29, I got 5. I only guessed 1 correctly, 4 I knew and the rest I was absolutely clueless! It really goes to show no matter how much you think you know, you will never know everything. I’d be impressed by anyone who could get all of these right without guessing.

I'm 75 and got 12/15. Some were guesses after eliminating one or two choices. But I kinda agree that education has gone way down. Anyone ever catch any of the KZread channels that ask young people very simple questions like "name a continent" or "how old would you be if you were born in 2021?" It's sad how few can answer even some of the simple questions.

Yes, the “knowledge” of today’s students is very poor. We don’t do reading, writing and arithmetic anymore; all the electronics do it for today’s students! How to teach NOT thinking for yourself!

Tough quiz. 10 for me. Nice work.

Only 4 for me and frankly 2 of those were outright guesses. The description is accurate. It was hard.

I only got 6 correct answers, It really is a difficult one, There are even some words that I never knew existed. But I enjoyed it a lot. and I learned a lot. 👍👍👍❤️

I also went to school when education was really EDUCATION and teachers really taught. I am 75 in just a few weeks and my score was 15/15 correct. We were encouraged to keep up with current events and we would also have discussions on what was going on in the world around us, along with all of our other studies. Some of the things going on in our schools today are absolutely appalling. Teaching "gender" craziness to our young people and yes even the little ones in school when some young people in college cannot answer questions on subjects they should have learned in grade school is very disheartening. I fear for our country as things just keep getting worse and worse. Sorry, I just am passionate about this, and deeply concerned.😧 BTW...very good quiz...thank you for your hard work👍

Yes, with all the new "fads" as to what should be taught in school, the basics have no space or time (yes, I know they're the same thing) to be taught. There's only so much you can squeeze in during the day.

Of course we only have your say-so that you got them all right, personally I would doubt it. Education today focuses more on skills rather than memorisation of facts.

I just did this test and got 11/15 not bad, a couple were guessed 😊

I’m 77 and I got 10 go the oldies!! We were born in the days when you read all sorts of books encyclopedias included.

I'm 74 and got 7 right. Very pleased with that. Great quiz and very enjoyable.😊

2 that I knew, 2 educated guesses and 1 complete guess. However, I could easily put forward 15 questions that I'm sure the originator of this quiz would really struggle with.

So where was the mistake in one of the 4 possible answers to one of the questions? It was only a minor problem.

I'm 65, and having quit school at 16 finishing 9th grade, I managed 4. I can live with that.

7/15 there were a couple I second guessed and got wrong should have gone with first answer. I love the fact that you gave a answer so I could learn what I didn't know.Thank you . I want more of these kind of quizzes.

11. Born 1958. Some were guesses between two that I narrowed it down to. A lot were straightforward. Not watching TV and preferring to read non fiction instead helped.

Got 5. I guess doing alright considering a stroke survivor. Had my stroke when I was 54, now 62.

I'm 76 and consider myself in cognitive decline, however I was shocked to get 11, more like this one! I suppose always suffering with curiosity and working on solution research in engineering problems helped a wee bit?

Nat Geo, History and the Science channel on my laptop is how I fall asleep. I guess I've absorbed some trivia. At 65 I managed 11 correct answers. I can live with that.
