The other supercars are hooked up and smooth, and then there's this guy. Sideways, any direction but straight, in what is still a souped Lotus 7, wringing the thing's neck for all it's worth. And going damn fast while doing it. Never stop bringing the Caterham.

I used to own a Caterham. I'd find any excuse to go out and drive it. I'd pop out for a bottle of milk and come home 5 hours later with crazy hair and no milk 😂

What's a 520R

One British magazine described the 7 after comparing it too all of the sports cars / super cars as the Hooigan racer and giving it top rating.over everything .

Absolutely friction' love this car! Raw, loud and insanely fast!

Caterham 620R is my dream car.. It is so absolutely raw and unrefined.. just man and machine and I love it.

In the late 70s I visited Dave Bean Engineering back in their Santa Barbara CA days.. they had a 7 in the shop being equipped with a full race Cosworth 2 liter, dry sump oil, Lucas slide injection... It would have been quite a bit like this one when done... Amazing cars...

If you want to go back to basics driving while scaring the shit out of you, drive one of these. Pretty much the fastest thing you can drive and that is including anything from McLaren or Fiat; sorry, I meant Ferrari.

Single seaters have no roll cage and they're much faster. The lack of side impact protection in the 7 is quite scary though! Your elbow will basically hit anything you slide into sideways, with the momentum of a 500kg car behind it.

This was filmed using a GoPro Hero 5 Session camera with external Sony microphone.

I built the lego version of this during a road trip from MSP up to Duluth.

Nice. About 50 seconds.

Need to reposition the camera to get the drivers view of the front wheels too
