I caught one like that a couple of years ago in Walleys gutter, it still had a bit of bone sticking out of the flesh and partly healed. Swam off like a rocket and also caught a cod up at the Gateway bridge that had definitely been bitten buy something bigger and it also swam off fine. Cheers

I have seen on another KZread video by someone else and apparently if the tail gets injured on a fish all the little fish will just eat it away until there is no more tail

Mate insane is certainly the right term for the session. I'm interested , for the most part you were fishing out wide of the low tide mark. What influenced your choice of area to fish. I'm still learning so any info will help. Thanks.
