솔직히 따로따로 들으면 일반인 입장에서 누구꺼를 듣던 '와 잘한다' 이 반응 나올거 같은데 같은 곡 바로 연달아 연주하는거 들어보니까 확실히 레이첸 소리 퀄리티가 다르네

멘델스존꺼 할때는 바이올린이 거의 플룻처럼 느껴지기도하네요

Ray singing the orchestral part while playing is so cute lol and the girl's shy smiling all the time is so precious.

Ray Chen is so humble. It is very easy to forget that he is a world class violinist when he's not playing.

I think Ray respected the two younger violinists by playing properly. I would not have liked it if it wasn’t for real. I think the young and talented violinists were also very brilliant, playing pieces that they might not have seen before. So well done to all three.

Imagine not even just MEETING Ray but even playing with him?? I could never. What an experience for these children and what extreme challenge they all have. This was amazing.

레이첸도 레이첸이지만 그 앞에서 기죽지 않고 본인만의 연주를 펼치는 성민님도 대단하네요 ~!!

음악못이 봐도 입이 안 다물어 지는 연주네요. 영재의 성장에 날개를 달아주기 위해 진심으로 대해준 월클도 참 고맙네요.

레이첸 바이올린은 소리가 아주 공명이 좋고 울림이 크고 명료하다. 사람으로 치면 목소리가 바리톤에서 테너까지 극~ 매력적야!. 근데,, 우리 요은 양/ 성민군도 정~~~말 잘하네!. 가수로 치자면 아주 맛갈나게 부르는.... 멋진 rendition!!.

레이첸 월클 실력인데 유쾌한 성격까지 진짜 매력이 넘칩니다. 공연 때 연주 최고였구요. 끝나고 사인회에서도 넘 매너 좋으셨어요! 또모에서도 보니 좋으네요. 감사합니다! ❤

While its true that he has played these pieces before, but its not like he has them memorized at all times. Even if its something he has performed before he still needs to practice it before he would go on stage and perform it. Which is why it is still considered sight reading

@@asdfasdfasf8 I can guarantee you he knows these pieces by heart. They are very standard repertoire. Most sight reading tests are semi-random groups of notes.

확실히 음이 다르긴 하네요. 진심으로 어울려주시는 모습이 대단히 인상적이십니다. 우리 친구들도 좋은 경험 많이 하고 많은걸 느끼고 쌓아가 높은 곳에 다다르길 바랍니다. ^^

The fact Yoeun considered skipping paganini 5, and did well when it was played! It shows its always good to make the attempt, you can learn from it and may do better than you think❤ They are both very brave and will surely be amazing as they continue to grow😊

음악을 모르는 나도 누가 잘하는지 알것 같다. 아무리 천재라 해도 레이첸 월드클라스 분에게는 범접할 수 없는 클래스가 느껴진다.. 젊은 영제분들이 못하는게 아닌 이분이 너무 잘하신듯..

5:47 레이첸 너무 귀엽다 ... 레이첸 연주는 정말 바이올린을 모르는 사람이 들어도 음 하나하나 섬세하게 들려요 역시 🥹

바이올린 바짜도 잘 모르는 사람인데 악기 소리 하나하나가 온몸에 다 전율이 느껴질 정도로 생동감 있고 감정이 느껴지네요 좋은 연주 잘 듣고 갑니다.

와..바이올린 1도모르는데 소름돋고 개지릴듯 칼각서는 느낌이네요 월클이 괜히 월클이 아닌듯..영재팀도 그냥 와~소리가 저절로 나오네요 귀호강 감사합니다!

확실히 음악을 잘 모르는 제가 봐도 레이첼 바이올린 최강자이긴 하네요ㄷㄷ 음이 너무 깔끔하고 깨끗하고 잘 들려서 너무 좋았습니다😮

어린 요원이가 대견해서 보는데 남학생 실력도 보통이 아니네요. 아직 학생이라니 앞으로 성장이 기대가 되네요.

That was amazing ! Every performance was beautiful to hear, and a huge bravo to the two young prodigies, it wasn't an easy exercise !

여기서 봐준다고 대충하지 않은게 진짜 프로로써 아마추어를 대하는 자세가 진짜 멋있다

일반인 입장에서도 너무 건전하고 익살스러운 배틀이었고 그냥 좋네요^^

와 음악에 문외한이지만 레이첼 이분 연주를 듣고 찾아가 듣고 싶어지네요~ 현악기 소리를 좋아고 특히 바이올린 소리를 좋아해요~ 마음의소리 같아서요.. 너무 멋진 연주 였어요~ 우리 어린 친구들은 더 높이 날 수 있겠죠~ 엄청나요~👍🏻

Damn she was so stoic and so UNstarstruck by Ray's arrival on the set ...She's all business and unintimidated...BUT Ray was totally downplaying and only going maybe 66%, yet you can still hear the world class level there... The girl was technically unreal, even her musicality was beyond her years ...if she keeps up she can perhaps be Ray's level of World class soloist ... The other gentleman was excellent, he can join world class orchestra in due time

Ray, when he realised what the tune was he was playing at the end, the facial expression and the on-screen comment 'he's playing from the heart...' - was sublime. Very nice!

How was he able to sing while playing??? I’ve been playing the violin for some time now, but I can only sing a few notes along. With the piano, it’s easy to sing along, but not with the violin. Impressive display to say the very least. Props to the young musicians, who’ve outdone themselves!

When you've played something hundreds of times, your hands and arms kind of move themselves, and your brain is free to do whatever else.

This is not sight reading but rather how well can you play a piece you learned but have not practiced recently? Still a rather impressive display from all of them!

most "i've never played music" comment ever. At that level they have played all of it, the "sight-reading" is how well they can flawlessly play the music from the sheet- also Ray isn't allowed to take artistic interpretation; which would hurt him when playing from memory. What you are saying is the equivalent of comparing computer programmers and saying "this guy wrote x code one time 10 decades ago so he can just bang out the same code from rote memory," it's absurd. Both ppl know how to code, and can recognize it; but, it isn't just stored in their memory perfectly like a robot.

Coding is not just “code”. It’s mostly problem solving. If the person has written it before, he has at least seen the solution which gives him a huge advantage. Ray’s emotion can only put into his play when he has done it many times before.

I love the fact that Ray didn’t go easy on them just because they are kids. Ray knows that they are obviously talented and if he were to go easy on them it would be condescending to their efforts and skills at the violin.
