I’ve had my Nova 300 paired with a set of SVS Ultra Towers for a couple years now. Couldnt be happier. Sound is amazing fof the price!

Had this for my ATC speaker but it didn't do the job so I switch to Schiit Audio Freya and Vidar instead, now I'm in high heaven.

Ugh. I'm so torn over either this unit with the Powernode OR just get the NAD M10 V2. Both will use the same app, but the Peachtree has more power. Form factor comes into play too and the NAD is s nice size. The NAD comes out to be about $300 more after getting the node with the Nova300. I cant decide! I'm simplifying my system. Currently, I use the Peachtree 200 AMP with Auralic Aries and Vega. I'm using the Vega as a preamp and it does sounds damn good, but still. I'm addicted and want more. All that is driving Salk Veracity SongTowers. LOVE my speakers and I'm just going to have to flip a coin to decide what to drive them with. Thanks for the vid. You confused me more! :)

Nice review. Is this this best bang for the buck integrated amp with HT bypass? Others you’d consider in this price range?

I honestly haven’t tested many integrated amps just yet, but yeah - this one sure does make big towers sing! And that HT bypass is so helpful if your big towers are integrate into your home theater system 🤘

Sir, how can I bypass my Denon X4700h to use the Peachtree 300 in a two ways tower speaker or inclusive of a centre channel? I have the SVS Ultra tower speakers with a central channel. Your step-by-step input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Amp assign needs to be 11.1 to activate the use of an external amp, and the pre out needs to be assigned to FRONT. Then just connect a couple of RCA patch cables to the Front L/R pre outs on the back of the x4700H, and connect the other ends to Aux-1 (HTB) inputs of the Nova 300. Lastly, hold down the HTB button on the front of the Peachtree to put it in “home theater bypass” mode so the X4700H controls the volume. 👍

Very nice amp but in saying that i noticed it runs a bit hot not warm. Class d amps are not supposed to run hot? Can someone tell me if only me?

I run the Peachtree 300, blusound with Martin Logan 60xti. No problem

Great review. I’m about to pull the trigger on the Peachtree 300, but it may be too much for my Vandersteen 2Cs. Will the Peachtree sound good at lower volume? Vandys are 87db - 40 to 160 watts.

Sure, it’ll sound good at lower volumes. Although there is a Nova150 that would probably be better for your Vandersteens. 🤘

@@kazzzer4876 I've had mine since 2019 and have been happy with it. Peachtree has been wonderful to deal with. I had a problem with it randomly shutting down this year & even though it was out of warranty they fixed it at cost. Anyway, you get a lot for your money with them & in fact I'm going to buy their new CarinaGaN model this month.

@glissonj73 Too much power is not an issue at all. The extra power helps with dynamics, but normal listening with any amp probably uses less than 15 Watts. I own a Nova500 and use with bookshelves. BTW, the amp sounds absolutely great at low volumes.

New WIIM Pro + Nova300 is probably the perfect

Hell yeah it is!

I am ready to take the plunge and upgrade my AV receiver and speaker system. Would you still recommend Costco as a good source for quality and good price? I have given up looking for a receiver that has screen reader capabilities for blind people like me so I could operate the equipment independently. I guess I will need to hire someone to set up and calibrate. How do I go about finding someone who is qualified?

Hi there! Well, yes, as far as spending the least amount of money to get you started, the AV receivers that Costco sell are the best bargain, for sure. But in your unique situation, you might want to look at SVS regarding your speakers. You will be spending a little more money, but you could still get started within the “budget” tier, like with their Prime 5.1 System. And adding more speakers, if you feel so inclined, is a breeze as well. But the main reason I recommend SVS is their unmatched customer service. I reached out to my contact at SVS and asked if they’ve dealt with a visually impaired client before. And sure enough, they had! They helped set up a speaker system via Zoom and helped walk the client through the setup process that way. Isn’t that awesome?! It’s true, having someone else there to assist in the setup process would be ideal, so I’d still recommend possibly contacting a local home theater installation company to assist with installation, calibration, etc. But once you’re a customer with SVS, you’ll more than likely become a loyal customer for life, since they go the extra mile. 😊

Man Ealan I like to try this out. I still luv my Emotiva hifi 2 channel system. maybe I'll try this in the future. It's over my budget for nearly $2,000. I wish these things wouldn't cost so much but that's how it is. btw for some reason I didn't get a notification for this video. YT is acting crazy to everyone it seems.

Ugh, you and me both. I wish I could hang onto this Peachtree, but I’ll need to send it back soon. Too pricey for me too just for a stereo Hi-Fi setup. And that’s so weird about no notification! Get it together, KZread! 😄

This amp is a stereo amp, so it can only power 2 channels

Peachtree currently has a trade in program for the Carina that allows you to trade in any brand AVR/Amp for up to 70% of original MSRP. I’m looking to trade my old Denon AVR 4308ci for $1000 towards the Carina to go with my Nova 300!

@@ealanosborne they offered me $1000 for my Denon 4308ci. I’m so tempted, but I really have no need for the Carina amp! Not sure where I’d put it! I’d need to go out and buy another set of quality speakers and I still wouldn’t know where to set it up! All rooms are full of gear already! Ugh!
