Welcome to my KZread channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.
I will be doing daily updates on my hair transplant progress, so feel free to subscribe and ask any questions you have. Thanks for visiting!
Please like, comment and subscribe! :)
======================================
Products I am using to supplement my FUE hair transplant:
1. HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr Pen 1.5mm 1-2x a week. (temples and hairline)
2. HAIRLICIOUSLY Hair Growth Supplement 2x a day
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine) - Minoxidil slows hair loss progression and promotes hair regrowth. I've noticed that using Minoxidil helped me grow my transplanted hairs a lot more quicker.
4. Pumpkin Seed Oil 1000 mg + HAIRLICIOUSLY Vitamins
5. HAIRLICIOUSLY Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)SHAVED MY HEAD: • I SHAVED MY HEAD AGAIN...

    You know, this probably explains a lot. Started a job late last year and went from sleeping 8+ hours a day to sleeping 4-6 hours except on weekends. Within a month or two I noticed a serious hair problem that has me frantically weighing my options. Sad thing is I could easily go to sleep at 8 in the evening instead of midnight if I chose to... No problems falling asleep at all for me. Just always was a late night person before and the job starts at 7am. Gonna have to force myself to stop this before I end up bald (earlier than necessary anyway).

    One recent study showed you can use a very small amount or topical Finasteride with only 30% DHT reduction and almost the same effectiveness of 1mg oral. So that’s a big difference in DHT suppression, so I wouldn’t be surprised if topical did have a noticeable result in fewer side effects. But that said, it’s being picky at this point because even with oral side effects are only with few percent of people.

    I just used the Dr Pen A6 as you suggested for the first time today, It’s an incredible device. Thing is, I used to use a 0.5 mm and a 1mm dermaroller. I have to say that the dermarollers are far more painful. This is the main advantage of the Dr Pen. The second advantage is that the electronic pen doesn’t rip my hair out as the dermaroller does. The last is that I can get far more needling into the scalp with the electric one.

    great channel and great content Bro. I started dermarolling with a Dr. Pen A7 last week. last week only did .5mm to get the hang of it. it hurts like hell - not a "mild irritation". this week I bought some numbing cream and then used the pen at 1.5mm. the difference was like night and day - both in terms of how much the numbing cream helped and going to a depth of 1.5mm vs .5mm. I thought since I am African American that my scalp just wouldn't show the redness everyone talks about. NOPE - I just didn't go deep enough during that first session. my scalp definitely had a little pinpoint bleeding and redness and it feels tingly now after the session. not using any medicated topicals but did apply a vitamin fortified castor oil. will come back to your videos from time to time with updates. I appreciate you and your channel!

I can go up to 1mm with no numbing cream. I've heaven't needled at 1.5mm in a while. I may go back to that depth once every two or three months. I've been doing .6mm - 1mm once a week for the past several months.

    There's missing nuance and context when it comes to oral finasteride. Don't take the cookie cutter approach like everyone, each individual requires more or less depending on side effects. If you're prone to sides, take less every two weeks or even 3 weeks. You don't need to hammer 5 mgs a week. 1mg every 2-3 weeks should be enough to knock down the dht conversion. When it builds up in your system you can back down or continue if you have no issues.

    Damn.. I'm happy for these guys but hate that I'm not getting results anywhere near this. I've had a pretty bad receding hair line for years.. I mean it started back in my teens and got worse in my 20s. I'm currently in my mid 40s. The "M" is pretty bad I think especially with my egg shaped head. For a long time I just said "F it" and shaved my head. Then about a year ago I decided to try and grow it out. I'm almost 13 months from cutting/shaving my hair. I figured, if I'm going to try and grow hair out, I should try to take care of the recede if possible. May 20th I started oral fin and oral min. I also got a dr. pen and microneedle. I have had SOME results.. I mean its easy to see since my "normal" hair is fairly long now and my "fin/min hair" is shorter. But my results look NOTHING like these guys. :( Some guys I know said since my hair is longer now it may take a while for the hair line to look better/stronger. We'll see. I mean.. seeing SOME results means its working to a degree, I was just hoping for better.

I want to make a solution with .1 retinol, 5% minoxidil, .03 bimatoprost. Do you think azealic acid and nizoral have any place in this cocktail?

    I started microneedling on my hair part at 1.5mm once a week for probably 2 months and no joke, I think it caused scar tissue to form on my scalp where it was used. I used it on my part towards the back of my head and I lost my hair there. If you saw me from behind you could also see my hair part from behind. I'm 98% sure it's from the dermapen as I have long hair and once I started using it on the part, I had hair loss for sure! Never before could you see my hair part from behind but now you can due to the hair loss the dermapen caused back there. Just be careful when using 1.5mm I guess. I learned the hard way🤷🏼‍♂️ Anyways, the part has not recovered, no new hair has grown and now I have to wear a fucking hat everywhere for the past 7 months and ongoing.
