Bro I thought the same thing. This gthaus setup brand new is like $5k but I found it used for $2k and sold my borla for $1300 so SUPER worth it

I just picked up a '23 IS500 (my 3rd one) I like this video because I want to go with the GTHAUS but just a axleback version which they do make for the IS500. Also 2UR-GSE FTW!

How does the interior sound with the valves closed? I'd love to have a system close to stock with valves closed so I can travel in peace and open up the valves when I want to be obnoxious.

Sounds good, but I can hear the drone (even if you say there's no drone), which sux on a motorway cruise. That's why valved exhausts are best for both worlds - quiet neighbourhood or raging street racer.

Anything can be done to anything if you put the work in it. Most people just supercharge them though.
