I was thinking the same thing and I understand that it is the first part of the hunt but if that was a largest in your life bull why gamble. You don't know what tomorrow will bring and he could go the rest of the hunt not having another opportunity. I like the quote from Steve Rinella 'Don't pass up a harvest on the first day that you would take on your last day.'

The editing is great! The hunt is being told to where there aren't any questions left to ask on what happened. I'd like to shout out to my Brother Jerry, who retired after 24 yrs in the army as a medic. He joined when I was 10 yrs old, and he was gone except for a few months in those 24 years. I just want him to know that I am grateful and thankful for the many sacrifices he made for our country. Also that I look up to him now just as much as I did as a youngster. Thank you

You guys are doing something right when I find myself full of emotions watching your content. You guys might not know it. But you all are hunting legends. Thank you for what you do for the community and what you bring to us all.

I love you guys I've hunted Eastern Oregon all my life from the time I was old enough to hunt till now I'm 60 years old. I've killed 21 elk with rifle, bow, muzzleloader, I love the outdoors and love to hunt and I just wanted to tell you that I love your guys' show the humor the camaraderie it's great to see. You all have a safe and great 2023 and keep being yourself it makes for a great show.

I love how you are expanding the Land of the Free. America is truly the land of the free and we are blessed to have so many animals to purse and harvest over so many states. We have an extended archery season til January 31 in some WI counties for whitetails. Come on up and get a few.

I can’t believe the amount of bulls in one area!! Shoot or not to shoot…….that is an incredible restraint not to launch an arrow at that bull that was so close!!! Love to see the camp site fun!!

Love seeing the videos and getting to live through it with you guys, these videos keep me sane while on deployment. Bought some stuff to send home to my family for Christmas. Really cant wait to be able to get back out into the mountains with bow in hand where I belong.

Great video. Drew a tag to the unit just to the east of this area this year. Unfortunately fire danger had most of it closed. Me and my son hunted hard through the crowds finally found an isolated batch of elk. My son called in a nice six for me but I dropped the ball. Turned out two sixes there after I shot, amazing time with my son even though I didn't get the bull. Never had a chance to make it back to hunt after the fire danger was dropped. I'll never forget the memories. I said to myself " that bull came in just like Born and Raised". I see it every time I close my eyes. Thanks for inspiring us out there.

I was losing my mind watching those bulls come in. But when it's a once in a life time draw you wait for the big ones!

Well, my hunt season ended today. Unless we wanna use our late season cow tags. ( rather not ) with knowledge gained, new spots. New friends and other goals met. Can only end a season thanking the man above for the opportunity again. Hope everyone else's season went good, with takeaways both good and bad. That was an amazing opening day! Loving the content this year. I always want more, but I think the quality of video is better doing it once a week. Great footage and the calling sequence is super interesting....I was sitting there going 'he totally just turned on the cow call'. Then was sitting there yelling "draw! Draw!"....hilarious. Amazing what you can learn on call ins where you pass on the shot, but get the advantage of everything playing out. ....46:45. THAT bull sound, would like to hear your interpretation of it...frustrated bull looking for cow? That is a very particular bull sound I hear from time to time

One word to describe this episode, and I'm not even done watching it yet, "edgeofmyseatsuspense!"

Is he gonna draw here or hey last chance to draw was there and nope but heck you wait that long and get a special tag and what a special hunt it is lining up to be. Great video again guys. Really like how y’all seem to have figured out the camera man angle from behind the shooter to show the elk and shot without the shooter taking to much of the frame. another awesome video.. family an i sat around watching per usual.. i had to calm the daughter down who was constantly yelling at stran to shoot it and having to explain to her it was an 18 year tag an first day of the hunt.. cant wait to see how this unfolds.. keep the uncuts going were enjoying them.. dont know if u guys recall but my daughter got to meet cody an trent at the Portland sportsman show and u guys wanted her to bring her deer mount back in that just got 3rd in state for western black tail fork horn and 1st in state for youth at 110 inch.. thanks for taking the time to talk with her an take pics it made her day an she never stops talking about it.. again cant wait to see how it all goes down fingers crossed
