That's why the Muskys are there because of the sucker fish.Thats their favorite food when they are young.They feed on a lot of crawfish too.When they get big they feed on small carp and bluegill.Virginia Tech did a study on them here a few years ago.

Man grew up on those red eyes that’s what we called them red eyes so fun in the creeks to catch they fight like pissed off hornets at like 10” it’s hilarious and fun. Grew up throwing ultra light 4’6 rods rods and tiny Texas rigs catching them

I live next to a Musky sanctuary, and if I've learned anything about musky, it's that those young musky are aggressive. I once had a musky jump clear out of the water and snag a crank bait that was hanging off the bow of my kayak.

Dude I love it! This video is exactly how I fell in love with fishing when I was a kid. My brothers and I used to float the Great Miami River in a 13ft Jon Boat!

Alex, you and I fish in the same area and I do this exact same thing. Glad you started doing some videos on these adventures. I'm doing the same as well, just bought the gopro and having a lot of fun. The creeks are a blast, I've caught big fish and small. I bought a bigger 12ft kayak for the lakes with pedal drive, but my 10ft Pelican is perfect for these situations. Can't wait for more of these vids.

You will catch anything on the creek. In Michigan visiting the in-laws I was surprised when I caught Muskie on the choppo.

That spotted bass you caught? I so believe the next one was a spot too. Mount grade. They dont get as big as a regular black bass

Coosa bass are the most aggressive bass of SB, SMB, and LMB. I've caught one about 2 lbs, but most are bait stealers.

Shock leader let's you cheat a bit. Usually on a Carolina or Santee rigs. 17 lb test to say 30 lb test line at the hook about a foot. Due to heavier line stretches longer distance before it breaks than the 17. Basically acts like a spring your 17 will now break @ 20-22 lbs.

It went from brown to green leaves was this a couple different floats?

Everything is more expensive. I got a new job last year making double the money I made before and it feels like nothing changed.

Yes - quite a few different spots. It’s got some fish but is TOUGH to navigate. There’s a tremendous amount of log jams.

I wish more KZreadrs would put their sunglasses or an older pair on their camera so we can see what's happening in the water. I hate it when y'all be like look at this and there's nothing we can see 😂
