Was it a good lunch

I went to this fancy restaurant once. I ordered some tomato soup and when the waiter went back to the kitchen I could hear a pan being thrown against a wall and the chef screaming. After waiting for an entire hour he came out to me with a Wendys Baconator and kept saying "fresh never frozen" over and over again while watching me eat it. I will never be going back. 5 stars.

The bottles and plates breaking is 95% of what makes the game fun to watch and Jerma knows it. He also could have used all his counter space for the day old soups, but leaving them on the floor is much funnier. The man isn't going to sabotage his own 8 hour long comedy act.

I love how jerma does not once consider that maybe the sheer volume of plates in the kitchen is causing the physics to become unresponsive

That was my initial thought too, especially because this game was made in Unity. I'm guessing that any object that doesn't get put in the trash can is still considered an active physics object.

After a while objects go into a "sleep" state where they're physics aren't calculated only a broadphase to check if anything around them has changed for them to wake back up. Though it is possible jerma going nearby often was keeping them awake.

At 1:49:40 they don't even give the 3C back for the plate, yet the flavour is described as perfect, implying that the patron *ate and enjoyed* the plate.

I like that jerma thinks waiters saying “careful that plate is hot” means they expect you to NOT eat your food, not that they just dont want to get sued for someone trying to pick up a hot plate and drop it in their lap or something

1:32:15 is possibly one of my favourite Jerma moments. The plop and slosh sounds mixed with him picking up and placing the sponge/pot is funny enough but the music and his stupidly contagious laugh never fail to make me giggle.

It's subconsciously conditioning him for maximum insanity. Same concept as the old Musak thing that was caught using music like that to subconsciously make workers work more productively.

This is one of my favourite streams, I remember pissing myself laughing during the panics of trying to get the food through the hole in time and accidentally spilling it before serving. Great stuff. Wish I could enjoy it more these days
