Randomly found 2 arrow storm aspects while levelling and was surprised by how lit it was. Glad to see someone took them further.

Plays as advertised, so glad I ran into this video. New to D4, new to rogue, tried a couple other builds that seemed to be highly rated but were slow going. Did the first capstone with one of them, then switched to this build once I had most of the aspects at 45 and everything just melts in tier 3 so far.

Awesome build! I redid my entire Rogue build an hour ago and I am coasting. Thanks for sharing and keep it up!

Great video, I've been running an arrow storm variation of the puncture build that has some similarities to this and it's really fun to play. Thanks for breaking down your thought process behind the choices, I may swap in smoke grenade this seems really strong!

Definitely gonna run this. I tried making an arrow storm build with flickerstep and hakans amulet and preperation but this is way more smooth sweet creative build dude

I really liked M1PY's heartseeker build but since this is also heartseeker I only need to swap out aspects and tweak the board a bit. thanks for this! can't wait to try this one out

This looks awesome! I am leveling a pen shot rogue now with plans to do Maxroll's Heartseeker rogue guide, but they insist it cant be done until bearly perfect gear with a ton of lucky hit and 1000%+ victimize damage, but they dont mention the vengeful aspect. This looks way easier to build into and might even be better, nice work!

you can play Heartseeker with non-optimized gear. It is good enough to clear 61 lvl Pit with no problem. I don't think this build is better performing

Considering this build doesn't work in late game - i doubt they'll be giving you more guides on it. Arrow storm doesn't scale at all sadly ;l been trying to make it work myself. The damage falls off immediately around pit 40+ lol. Look at the video tests (nightmare 60) , you can tell he's not pushing high with it.

Love this build switched out a couple skills and one aspect. As a level 78 clearing t 80 nmd with easy once I max my glyphs no doubt will clear 100s just as easy

Definitely will try rogue next playing Druide atm but this will be my next build thanks for it

I've been having a blast with this build, thanks! Still at 75, but I replaced hectic, explosive verve, blast-trapper, and ghostwalker with the cowl of the the nameless, concussive strikes (edit: not mangler), shared misery, and accursed touch. When I level up my Exploit glyph I'll replace accursed touch with undying. I just wanted to be even lazier and use smoke grenade only against bosses :D I'll switch up the paragon board to replace the trap-based synergies, but yeah this build slaps. Basic skill builds are really viable this season thanks to their temperable affixes.

@@rawchuna One that I've seen was a wolf druid teleporting while bouldering but that was in previous seasons but it might be better in S4.

I like it. Now you need to finish your D4 Planner with recommended stats for each piece of gear.

this might actually reignite my love for rogue used to play EVERY d3 season as multishot DH no matter if it was good or bad but i just loved it. d4 rogue however feels so boring to play and i absolutely hate the 3stack > release play mechanic but this however actually looks fun af

going to be working on this over the weekend. I always get annoyed looking at builds that have 4-6 needed uniques.

Really well! Heartseeker has a 50% lucky hit chance and when we temper enough chance for it to cast twice, each cast basically has a 100% lucky hit chance (which then has to proc the storms) but we basically create a new arrow storm every few casts, which stack on top of each other really quickly and then pair with victimize. It drains single targets really well.

Today I learned there are two arrows storm aspects. Rain storm is a nice survival aspect. Procs regularly and with life on hit my health bar is full really fast

the rain of shower is insane!

Seems like a fun build. What pit levels can you clear easily on a fast pace? And would Harlequin Crest make this build stronger?

I traded the pants and their aspect for Temerity and with life on hit one only two gear pieces I have a non stop barrier. Awesome build

How far have you gotten in pit so far after this video, currently? And also NMD? I just died on my HC character so i was looking at another build to try out that i can invest in if i ever make it to end game XD

I have a build that does the same thing, heartseeker and an insane amount of arrow rain, I hit between 500k~1m per arrow and I definitely don't have very good gear xD It's a lot of fun, especially trying to figure out how to make it work even better and it's great to know there are more people enjoying this.🤣

Not true, it isn't even out yet and the planner hasn't been updated lol. We dropped victimize entirely and are doing more damage than in this variant by a decent amount.

This looks super fun to play but I am curious in your example what is triggering the explosions and vulnerable status on the group of training dummies because you did not appear to be using smoke bomb, only the basic heartseaker attack but I don't quite understand why and how the bombs are being triggered from a basic attack??

leveled to 65+ with similar setup. found aspect by accident and realised its stupid op. :D going back to it now

I thought I was the only one on to this until I just saw this video. Unfortunately, I just switched away from this for the rapid fire rocket build. It's def not as fun as the arrow storm build so I will be switching back as soon as I can farm some new items.

I started the season 4 ptr with a build similar to this. It's what I am currently playing too.

Hey, there is a bunch of stats missing on the planner on the items, could you fill it? also it would be nice to have the leveling route for the skills

With masterworking it seems possible to get 200% or close to it for heart seeker to cast twice. Will it actually cast an additional time or does the benefit stop once you hit 100%?

Will word of hakan apply imbuements to your rain of arrows aspects? Or does it only work on the ultimate ability?

I really wish they would just remove lucky hit and make things a flat chance to proc. Would help so many builds also how much lucky hit chance do you have ? Or how much would you recommend to get those lucky hits to proc

Exploit glyph once you have it in the board, lucky hit chance to create vuln on gear, blast trapper's explosions, and any attack after you break concealment.

With some life on hit could you work in a Temerity to have a fat barrier to protect against oneshots?

For sure, I've gotten that ask a lot, it's my bad. I'm working on it, hopefully within the next day or 2 it will be updated. That planner is giving me trouble (won't let me add innersight specialization for example) but I hear you loud and clear :)

Are rain of arrows able to proc the passive of Paingorgers? If so it might make a good addition to the build.

With this build we need Damage % or vulnerable damage or crit damage is better?

I'm curious if tempering your melee weapons with 'Chance for Heartseeker to Cast Twice' increases the chance for 'Arrow Storm' to proc? And, did you find a way to proc 'Arrow Storm' more often prior to lvl 50 or, soon after? Like others, before level 50, I've found 'Arrow Storm' isn't proccing anywhere near enough to make the build satisfactory. I've rolled Lucky Chance on a ring and, found it on a necklace but percentage of chance to proc is still really, low. Obviously, in the video, you have lvl 925 gear assisting with the build. At what point did your build begin paying off in this regard? Is this more of an late, end-game build?

Then you an actual archer build in so excited to try this out and get it maxed out

Mybro I’m following this build to the T. Wonderful so empowering with Rain Of Storms. Do you think Unique Word Of Hakan could amplify the ROS further or will it just be redundant?

Unfortunately word of hakan only works on the rain of arrows ultimate, not on the arrow storm effect :(

Been playing this build for today now and I’ve enjoyed my play through a whole lot more over my aoe frozen flurry build I was using. Made it up to Pit 61 with this which is where I wanted to be at, very fun build! I have a few uniques stored in my stash so you have any uniques in mind that would probably fit right in without messing anything up?

@@rawchuna Forgot the name of the unique but I messed around with the gloves that have a chance at freezing on lucky hit. Didn’t throw the build out of whack for what it did but I later found another set of gloves with 1 GA (85% crit damage) and those immediately replaced the unique lol

I do, ya, but it will be an individual skill thing imo. Everything seems to 1 shot you there so its all about dodging attacks. Personally I probably don't have the skill to dodge like that, but that's not the builds fault lol

How do you trigger Blast Trappers without using a trap or grenade? The explosions only come after a trap/grenade has hit the enemy. But you don't use traps/grenades at 4:00 min?!

Really willing to try that since I can't get one key aspect for my rapid fire build (repeating aspect doesn't drop for me and I'm 87 with my rogue). BTW I'm sure you could make your sound a bit louder, it is quite hard earing you ;)

Hey! I might be wrong here, but isnt the dmg mainly coming from victimize here, not from arrow storms? I assume once you stack more vuln dmg you will clear higher because victimize scales even more but arrow storm doesnt?

At the point this was recorded, they were doing about the same amount of damage when i slowed it down -- but ultimately the victimize will scale further if you're trying to do deep pushes and stuff, i think you're right there

Glad you're enjoying it :) the chip glyph needs to reach level 15 to have a wider radius to get the full 40 dex

I tried physical dmg arrow storm build in season 3 and it had a certain damage ceiling and some other issues. Got troubles in boss fights and some scattered monsters. Hopefully, the new affixes this season can fix those problems.

They definitely buffed it a lot. In this video I barely have any master working done on my gear so it should be able to scale much higher still once gear is optimized.

I have halfway put this together, missing a couple of the aspects and ALOT of vulnerable damage. What is proccing vuln? Just concealment and smoke grenade?

concealment, damage after smoke grenade (with blast trappers), the exploit glyph once you have the paragon built out, and there is also a lucky hit chance to apply vuln on gear now that is super helpful

that one's not tempering, just a random gear affix
