Stator I also read the description. Rx-7 comes turbo charged. I just can't think of a reason why somebody would remove it. To make less power? I think not. -.-

@G. B. You know overengineering doesn't mean big motor. In Japan then it was almost impossible to own a car with any sort of engine over 3 liters. The rotary brought the best of all worlds, except fuel economy. It was small, light weight, but still could produce as much power as the bigger piston engines.

Yea basicly. I love being called a ricer in my built wrx. Seriously have wheels and mud flaps as my only cosmetic. Wheels lighten unsprung weight too. I have about 10k into engine. Going sleeper build. But I am a RICER. Hahaha

Only reason I can think of is they didn’t mention semi pp or half Bridgeport. Also they said pp was the ultimate port.. I’d like to disagree once semi pp is a factor.

I really honestly don’t understand why anyone would block off the stock ports and go through all that extra trouble to be pp instead of semi pp. semi pp provides more air/fuel delivery, more intake duration on bottom and top (which would widen the power band and increase drivability), semi pp also provides cooling to all 3 exposed sides of the apex seals. The only pro I could see to pp over semi pp is how much easier the intake manifold would be to make.

Probably the most beautiful rx7 on the planet

dread knot pros are easier said than done , the quad motion of each is restricted by wave of stress or what we call influx stress or even shear releaf from such calibrations of each given motor, typicaly I would say yes but witha cautionary no attatched. cheers.

The original article on this car by 7Tune stated $40k for the engine.. Assuming that accounts for 4 x 13b rotors (or 2 if he kept the originals), custom eccentric shaft from Aus, custom inlet manifold, ITBs, exhaust, ECU, injectors, dry sump...

600hp with 2.6 litres of displacement is so insane Well, rotaries But that thing probably only gets like 3 MPG

@@fdpunchypops7814 Try screwing even 600hp out of an na 2j. You got some work on your hands. There is the ppre na 6 rotor that made 814hp on its first outing on the dyno.

Mad mikes only has 600plus NA. His rx8 20b turbo has close to 1000hp

A PP is a bitch to drive on the street You have to knock it out of gear every time you want to slow down and the drink like a big block V8 For the street go extend port turbo Much friendlier to drive Sweet looking 7 though

it's peripheral ported rotary, it creates choppy sound every time exhaust overlapped to intake side when idling
