Definitely felt like watching stormtroopers shooting at times!

The editing style on this channel is so good, it makes Warhammer so consumable. Also as an editor I can see how insane the amount of time this takes you would be.

Also i love your army screen graphics. Simple style but tricky to do. It looks great, even in the older videos where the camera blurs out the minis haha

I love seeing how OPR have blown up massively the last two years or so. Even a year and a half ago only a handful of people done OPR videos now lots do and get really good views on them 😊

100% first video i did of a OPR game was about a year ago and on the anayltics there was a massive spike mid year 2022, great to see them get more recognition

Very entertaining, especially Excretia II! With injury rolls and a morale phase, it’s clear this is an offshoot of Kill Team’s 1st Edition, so Grimdark Firefight would be a viable option for players that didn’t make the switch to 2nd Edition.

Yeah it's definitely a last edition KT equivalent, and works in the same way as an intro to their larger games with the rules essentially being the same

The tabletop sim community is pretty large for OPR their discord almost always has some games going

What a great game!

You guys should try out mixed teams. You can't do that in GW so it might be nice to do it with OPR. I playing a lot of inquisition with a side of terminators that can be called in with the mystic acolyte very fun strat.

I'm currently running a Battle Sisters, Plague Demons list that I'm loving. Loosing, but that's because I'm a terrible General.

Heya. Great vids. I have feen binging them with my baby daughter late at night haha. Can i please request a "learn along" for age of fantasy regiments like you did for firefight. With warhammer old world being spruiked im keen to do some opr regiments haha

yeah im a fan of the small units style groups would love if they adopted a more shatterpoint vibe and you got a big base and diorama'd 3 models onto it

Awesome content. Love the bat reps. Question - looks as if you are playing on a Kill team board. If so, do you use the normal movement and shooting ranges? I just started and have a similar board. Just curious if there is any downfall to not cutting ranges in half.

I could see the benefits of reduced range, we didn't reduce any range or anything and turn 1 charges were a thing, depends if you want a quick game 😄

Hey thanks, hmmm no real reason. I mainly play OPR with my brother and he loves fantasy so we break out the big armies for fantasy. I think we had one big game of Grimdark future on the channel but it is mainly fantasy. We've played regiments a few times but not recorded them.

@@GFNGaming makes sense :). We're thinking about getting into it because apparently Car Wars 6, Gaslands, and Battletech aren't enough, and the GW rulesets just make me feel sad and lost and cold and frightened ;)

The comedic bits are seriously not slowing down. BeFunk and StoneSteady had me snort laughing.

There are some listed in the rules like 2 corners, diagonal corners, and theres also the scout and ambush special rules

More action and back and for drama on turn one than many whole games of that big coprate game.

Round 3: the inquisitor attacked back on the plague guy that charged him. I may be wrong, but shouldn't that have been his action? If he wanted to move and attack, he should have held his riposte.

We're just using the core rules that are free, so you can always attack in combat if you charge or are charged, the first time you do this it's with your normal quality then you become 'fatigued' and any subsequent melee attacks need 6's to hit. I know they have a few advanced rules that i dont know so they might add to this section but thats how it works in the basic rule book :)

Wow, the shooting seemed remarkably useless. Does one wound? Always one attack? Have to stack wounds to push towards a 6 on the injury roll? What determines whether it’s an auto kill? Didn’t catch it.

Turn one, the plague zombie didn’t get an injury roll, it was just removed. Because it’s in a multi model unit?

@@earnestwanderer2471 yeah multiple model units lose a model per wound until just one remains then that last model accumulates wounds 👍
