RULES EDIT: I get the models wrong in the necron intro - Mixing up the accelerator and the Reanimator - they were played correctly. 5:30 - we miss lethal 5+ on the Chronomancer for its first attack. 38:30 - Plasmacyte Accelerator can't boost the apprentek just immortals and Deathmarks

I always prefer the real life games not just because I need to justify buying all the minis :D - next 2 games up will be in real life games - HOTA VS GUARD and then INQUISITION VS ...? maybe slaanesh Legionaries for fun? that one hasn't been filmed yet

Nice batrep! I love watching yours because of all the little flourishes you do during editing. Sorry your horrifying mutants got beaten so thoroughly by a bunch of walking tin cans, but it was fun to watch.

Best KT batreps out there. Sludge Grub flame breath effect was Oscar worthy.

Great Battle Report! Really love seeing the Heirotek in action after getting them last month. Some of the tricks they do are wiiiild. But a really fun game to watch!

Oooh, the unstoppable force vs the immovable object. This will be fun. Also, best way to use fish man - bullet sponge. I always take two flies and two fleas, i rarely use them offensively but instead use them to charge block while to give the big boys a chance to get up the board.

thanks man, i've been seeking advice - I heard a good idea of using the mites to give the big guys combat support also - so lumberghast normally hitting on 4's which is not great getting him up to 3 with some combat support sounds like a great idea.

That was first Hierotek game where i actually feel pretty good for overall experience after the game. Also seems pretty good piloting the necron squad from my perspective, cheers

12:54 deathmark can't use Phase Ocular during overwatch, as it's still an action he can only do during its main activation. Unless he declared it on the turn the Deathmark showed up on the board (it stays on until the end of the turn)?

I was a bit afraid that maybe another report will be a TTS one, but fortunately no! Excellent job as always, top quality all round! This mine is indeed unfairly strong, especially against a pure close combat team on the short deployment map. 3" radius would be much more fair and less oppressive.

Yeah the TTS stuff will always just be if i can't get an in person game in - next 2 are also in person games. Hahah yeah that mine seems to be a real momentum killer for melee teams to have to overcome. - could take a 3'' aura much better

Gotta keep those hulks away from the lil guys or behind heavy cover on open. Very unfortunate first activation.

Yeah man, learnt that the hard way 😬 but consider that lesson locked in, also don’t have glitchlings near targetable blast victims really need those for loot and secure missions

Loved the report, thanks for posting it. FYI the death mark could not shoot the lumber hulk TP 1, the hulk is obscured. you only ignore the 1st inch of heavy when counting obscuring.

Thanks. Not sure I follow, the deathmark was within 1'' of the terrain (where the cover line crossed) so the terrain is not counted as per the core rules for obscuring though. Doesn't mention anything about not counting the first 1'' that I can see?

I think the nuance that is sometimes missed, is the active operative needs to be within 1" of a point in which a cover line crosses obscuring terrain to ignore it. I believe the crane model is more than 1" thick, so a cover line would cross obscuring terrain at a point that is more than 1" from the Deathmark, making the Hulk obscured.@@GFNGaming

So any terrain that has holes where visibility can be drawn, even if the active operatives is within 1'' of it, obscuring lines only count if the piece of terrain is < 1'' thick as cover lines start 1'' away from the active operative? - sounds like they need to actually make terrain that doesn't break their own terrain rules like XD

not nearly enough heavy cover for a fair game.... fun for heirotek but gotta clutter up the table more

Great batrep! Just wondering, why not use Command on the first and second turns? It seems like the Cryptek could've commanded the Despotek to loot the objective when he activated at the start of turning point 2. Was it just something y'all missed?

Wasn't that 1st shot 2 crits? Not a normal and a crut? Lethal 5+ so retaining one for cover wouldn't cut it. The special effects are sick!!!! Love these reports
