@@wonderlandisalanguage9646 hey! Ive never heard of the brain in itself being an alter and if you mean litterally then no. Its the brain that disossiates and protects the body by seperating alters with amnesiac barriers but i guess you could think of the brain in this situation as the mastermind. Its just following its natural biology yet it managed to seperate all of us. Its the thing that caused DID as a reaction to trauma but it isnt an alter like that. However within alters i believe it could be possible, definately super rare and im not sure what situation calls for a brain alter but an alter can be anything. Even rocks. Tldr: the brain itself isnt an alter but with other alters its possible that a brain alter exists

Dear Entropy System, About a month ago, I was hospitalized for psychiatric and health reasons. (I'm doing better now on both ends, btw). While there, due to the psychiatric side, I had to have a "sitter" at all times. Most were either last year psychology students or med students going into psychiatry. One of the psychiatry students and I had a long talk about various conditions, how they present, how they are treated, etc. When DID came up, she said she believed the condition to be a spiritual one, not a psychological one. (Keep in mind, I live in the belt buckle of the Bible belt) This began a four hour+ education period for her. Explaining personality developments, identities, age restrictions, reactions to trauma, etc all interwoven with several of YOUR videos. She got my phone out of quarantine for this purpose, actually. Anyhow, by the end, something clicked. Because of you, a professional health provider who will touch hundreds of people in the years that come will be a better caretaker. That being said... May you and yours (*especially Leia*) have a joyous holiday season!

Thank you so much for being able to educate someone in the medical field. It can sometimes be an intimidating feat. You helped countless people who may have DID that this person will impact. That is such a gift. And being able to use some of the Entropy Systems videos is amazing. Thank you again.

Every video I see with Lito or when he is discussed his accent is brought up, now, I love the way he speaks and his accent is wonderful, but I know it causes him stress, so Lito - when you're working out, there's a tool I've often used for voice-acting and getting to the point of confidence in various accents, and it may help you gain the self-confidence you so deserve. I don't believe you need it, I think you're perfect the way you are, but I do understand the trepidation of speaking to others who might not understand. Watching Ed speak was so interesting - even though he’s only been in 2 (I think?) videos before, his body language and his facial expressions are so distinctly him, he’s so easy to pick out even watching on mute. Wyn, I totally get the hang up with Lito’s accent and the difficultly with letting it go. Jay is Cuban, speaks with a Hispanic accent in a body that is white passing most of the time and I get so worried about stares or offending people. He made the choice to suppress his accent while fronting most of the time (he’s one of the two main protector so that might be why it’s easier for him) but I know my discomfort had some amount of impact on that decision. It also feels a little weird for the body because we speak German and Hebrew and Spanish /feels/ different which makes being comfortable with the accent more difficult. One of the things that’s helped us is sort of practice? Jay isn’t a fictive but he was created around the time when I was very deep in One Day at a Time as a comfort show, which definitely influenced his creation. Me fronting and speaking along with the characters and also doing things like Duolingo and getting more comfortable with the mouth shapes and sounds has helped both myself and Jay feel more confident in him speaking with his accent because it feels more natural - it already sounded natural but it felt weird if that makes sense? This just helped us to slowly start to bridge that gap.

I love that Lito and Kim Kim are best friends now, it’s so good and pure. I love Lito, I really hope he can be himself and be happy not have to worry about what other people think because he deserves the world. Also Daniel’s Jessica impression was amazing lmao just his hand gestures were so great XD

I like how your alters aren't afraid to say something about another alter without feeling bad about it. I really find it nice to find people who aren't afraid to be honest. I used to be that way as a kid, but now I'm learning to shut up; I still feel that way about other people though, I like the honesty, and I wish there was more of it in this world. Thank you so much to the Entropy System for sharing their thoughts on each other without any filters!

I feel for you, Wyn (and Lito), especially in this country race, culture, heritage is such a sore subject for a lot of POC and of course if the person understands DID, I’m sure Lito would be quickly accepted and validated, accent and all. I think Lito just needs to find people he can trust, like Julie. What would truly be amazing is if there was a friend of Mexican heritage out there who could take in Lito as part of the culture and let him feel safe to participate while still in the body you all share. I’m also glad it seems certain system relationships have improved.

Not having DID, I love watching your videos and learning about all the intricacies with it. Because of you guys, I started doing my own research on DID and psychology in general. I love these videos where you guys are fully yourselves and open up to show people like me a little more about what your world is like. Johnathan is like our primary protector. He's somewhat like the dad in our system too. Ideas for a video series: I think a series of episodes where each of the alters share some of their favorite activities for example "cooking with..." // "drawing with..." Just casual videos while you're busy doing something you love and just talking about anything. I think it would be a great way to get to know each alter (those who want to participate)

I often think it to myself and share it with my friends :) It's probably one of my favorite sayings or things to repeat when emotions get the best of me!

I loved this!! Getting to hear how relationships have changed/evolved is so interesting!! I'm really happy that Kit and Daniel are friends now because they've always been two of my favorites (I do love and respect all of you, though)!! It was nice hearing that the littles are doing ok, too. I know why they don't front on camera, and I understand completely, but it's still a shame we don't hear from them often. Living in the U.S.A right now and being different in the public eye isn’t the best, so I think it’s very understandable that Wyn and Lito are worried, but I also commend you, Wyn for trying to overcome your fear and being able to openly say you know that’s wrong and that you want to be better. I have been watching since close the beginning and it has been amazing to see everyone’s transformations. It really seems as if everyone is happier and healthier. It’s amazing to see Kim Kim come into herself, and feel so carefree about her style and the things that she likes. Kit and Denial, it’s amazing that they get along now, I can tell how much easier it is for the whole system. I have always loved how strong headed and happy Kit is and how laid back and excepting of everyone Denial is. All in all it’s awesome to see how good your system is doing!
