    Hi Pascal, Please clarify, After end of the push the feet point (toe) should be parellal to the ground. Is it the effective push? Is it proves that you are pushing back of the heel?

    Thanks for this! One additional question related to ankle relaxation. Can you provide a rough estimate of ankle angle as a function of time for a full push-recover cycle? Do you ever rotate the ankle not in line with the knee? I'm particularly interested in the the recovery phase. Thanks!

  • @ThePascalbriand

    @ThePascalbriand

    Scott Strachan yes i mainly try to rotate a bit the ankle to the inside during recovery moment to prepare the landing

    pascal briand the main skate I use now are Rollerblade fusion boots with a K2 R100 frame (4*100mm) so I can get some speed/edging for my daily commute but I want to glide past the cyclists (at least the casual ones) and give them even more hell!

    How do you change the ankle dorsiflexion on the recovery leg during the recovery movement? Do you keep it same, increase (move toe closer to shin), or decrease (move toe away from shin)?

  • @ThePascalbriand

    Hi Pascal, so it's a combination of using the hip, knee, and ankle? 2:19

  • @ThePascalbriand

    @ThePascalbriand

    a lot of hip...little knee ...and ankle to validate the precision of the landing. For me it's a lot in the hip

    If you're skating in a pace-line, do you still want to do the circular motion behind you? It seems like you would cause some trouble for the people skating behind you.

  • @ThePascalbriand

    @ThePascalbriand

    6 жыл бұрын

    great question.....yes you would still do it...it's no problem if skater behind you have good technici also. Sometimes we use this to force the skater behind to go more far and loose some draft^^

    le circuit est assez vieux en fait...mais le revêtement est pas mal encore...en sprint ca defonce un peu les roues comme la plupart des circuits mais franchement c'est encore top pour s'entrainer ici
