Gorgeous cards! Thanks for sharing the techniques and the inspiration! My favorite holiday memory.... when I was maybe 8 eight years old, my family went to spend the holiday with my grandparents, who lived in Santa Barbara. They lived in a big, 3-story old Victorian home. We all went out to midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, and it was really exciting to get to stay up so late! When we returned to the house, we discovered that Santa had arrived during our absence. Two bleary-eyed little girls and the rest of the family stayed up and opened our presents before heading to bed. It was a truly magical Christmas for me.

These are beautiful cards!! Love playing with the oxides! Some of my most precious memories are sitting up late at night stamping and making cards with my Dad. He did a great job and always loved learning new techniques. The cards he made for my mom were precious. I miss him!!!!

Super cards! I like the contrast between the blended backgrounds and the pop of sparkle. The block outline dies are very cool. Loads of tips. I am going to have to try the painting technique. My aunt taught me to crochet. I made a scarf and a tam. It was a treasured time with her. I was so proud of what I accomplished. It was then that I learned just some of the wonderful benefits crafting can bring into your life.

One of my best Christmas memories was bareback riding my Pinto pony, that Santa brought, around the block. Needless to say, the neighbor kids were very impressed!! I am impressed with the lovely cards you made in this video. Striking techniques using the new dies.

My best memories are the compliments I receive when I gift a card or tag that I've created. That extra effort shows others that you care and makes them feel special and appreciated. Thanks for sharing this tutorial. Beautiful cards and dies!

These sentiments and shadows are great and I love how you used them to cut the windows. My friend was visiting last week and we spent all week doing all sorts of crafty things with paper and fabric and parted, both feeling inspired and renewed. Hugz

Love the new stamps and dies. I always love decorating my home, however, when my children were in college we would wait until just before Christmas, when they came home after exams, to decorate the tree. They are married now but I am very lucky they still come home for Christmas.

Dave, I've been watching all your videos and love all your ideas for your cards. I really enjoyed the video you did with the two window dies and the deer. I love working with Tim Holtz's Oxide Distress inks and especially using it over embossed stamping. Your idea with the words is beautiful. PS: this is Judy formally of Colorado stampnscraping.
