I've been knitting/crocheting for the past 2 months and now I have to get back to stamping! No, water coloring! I received my Memory Box and Poppy Stamps dies yesterday and I can't wait to use them. Dave, you are a genius too! Your dies captured my sister's heart and mind and she creates amazing cards with your products. I was head over heels with Tim's techniques 'til she showed me how to use your dies and you and Tim are my favorites!
This was fabulous. So many great ideas to extend our washi tape and stencil options with dies. Love love love it! Thank you so much!

Wow, I am really surprised that washi tape held up to that much water without leaking. I'm looking forward to trying out this new (to me) technique. I have tons of poppy and memory box dies so I just might be spending my Saturday with washi tape and parchment paper! ha ha Thanks Dave--we certainly appreciate you and your companies putting out gorgeous products and designs for us to use every year.

What a great idea. I was wondering if it would be easier to put the washi tape sticky side up on your surface and then put the card on top. This would obviate having to try and smooth it out. Just a though....

Love this technique. wondering if using regular masking paper with parchment would work as well. Most of my Washi Tape is really pretty and don't want to "waste" it using it to throw away.

Could you use contact paper for this? I thought washi tape loses its stick easy? Must be some kind of special washi tape.
Love this idea - but where do you find the WIDE washi tape - I have never seen that anywhere
