Hi everyone! Here's my 2023 Inktober Sketchbook! I really hope you enjoy this tour. I approached this year's Inktober with a bit more preparation and really enjoyed getting back into working in this style. Be sure to let me know what you think!
I LOVE that you've used tan paper for this challenge, it looks incredible!! 😊
And so, the Red caped adventurer's story continues!
I adore your art style! Also the way that you have incorporated a lot of the same thematic elements and color palette throughout the month, it really makes it a cohesive collection of pieces!
Great drawings as usual, you really have your own style. Can't wait to see your work next year now!
Inktober this year WAS fun. I got all the way through, for the first time LOL but my favorite of yours is the Removed drawing, with that ghostly sapling. I don't know Elven? Eldon? Ring but it is also quite Tolkienesque so I like it. I followed the Inktober prompts, plus a series of Zentangle prompts, where you use a "tangle" in each piece. Combining the two was inspiring and I loved every day. However my own favorite was the prompt Toad plus a pattern called Barz. I enjoyed designing it, creating it, and the end result. I also loved the prompt Wander. The cover of your Inktober journal reminds me of MY piece for that prompt. I stuck with paper, ink, and graphite for shading. Maybe next Inktober will have color.
The dangeous dragons came out of you, but you don't come out of the dangeous dragons 😅 Beautiful art 👏👏👏👏
That is one attractive thumbnail and seeing the image is even better. I will be getting back into doing art for myself again.
