Actually, a comic confirms that Superman's ending is the canon ending

man this shit is almost like a movie where's my popcorn 😂😂😂😂

Its funny, Batman would be the most boring character in DC if he'd spend his genius inventing ways to contain criminals permanently, instead of just beating them up over and over and putting them under supervision of someone else, who criminals inevitably break out from, murder lots of people and creating another play ground for Batman to be "awesome".

Problem is that after a while your heroes stop being heroes, because they don't solve any problems any more, they just delay it and present it as a solution, making them look like big dumb fat over-hyped hypocrites, which they kinda are.

Mostly, atleast in Batman's universe, it's not as much as permanently locking criminals away, but finding means to treat them and turn them into good people, hence Arkham, even if that went horribly wrong. It's like in today's society how criminals are trying to be treated should they have a psychological disease for acting that way or just something that damaged them. No one's truly a stereotypical villain, everyone has something that made them become that, either through events in their life or a psychological disease. Now it's kinda silly given how many times they've broken out and kept doing their criminal acts, you kinda need to question how many second chances you wanna give them. But that's a hard line to draw, the question has always been "Where do you draw the line until you take a life?" and the answer usually is: never. Atleast in the hero's case. Heroes should never decide because as soon as they do, they're not heroes but anti-heroes, and after that, where does the line go? So the ones at fault are the one governing the system on how to punish criminals, rather than the heroes. At the same time, they're all comic books that was meant to inspire a dark era and continues that theme, albeit they've gone darker now and kinda blurred things together, but back when the comics came up everything was very "pro-life" after all the wars. And ofcourse, killing villains left and right would make the comics short.

I know where you are coming from but there are a little bit of contradictions. If hero doesn't make decisions then how can he be called one in the first place? Hero is usually who takes maters in his hands and succeeds where everyone or at least most have failed. And originally every single one of these characters were just that. But the lack of originality combined with greed of the writers have created the situation where the problem is not villains themselves, but the way to contain or, as you said, help them. And this is something that these guys never do. They just continue beating villains up and putting them to the same places they've escaped from already. So like I said, they don't do anything in the way of solving the problem, and that should take their hero portrait away from them. Except it doesn't, they are still being brought as saviors of human kind and best heroes of the best. At this point they are just a propaganda material for retards, and the fact that they are so popular says something unpleasant.

Timur Pirkhal the term hero in comics isn't always thought of by comic writers exactly as you described it. While yes people see Batman and Superman as heroes, in the eyes of the law they are vigilantes who are still beating up random criminals. As much as they would try fighting back they have strong villains like Joker, Lex Luthor, and all the other villians that the law can't stop themselves. So they need the heroes to stop the crazy and super powered villians as they are out of there control by a whole lot. The people give the "vigilantes" the tittle hero as they "put the bad guys away in jail" and they are the people that bring the hope to the people. Now that hope ties in with their no "Killing Rule" as stated by the guy that replied with 5 likes, they want to rehabilitate the criminals because of what caused them to be it in the first place. And while yes they do in a nutshell beat up criminals and take them to the same places where they escape, it's not the job of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and all the heroes to be Judge, Jury, and Executioner to a villain the law literally should of dealt with by now. Heck I'm pretty sure the people wouldn't mind the death sentence for Joker at this point. If Batman, Superman, or any other heroes cross the killing line "To do the right thing" because what they did was justified: What else will ve justified more and more and become exceptions to killing criminals. I know I'm retelling what the other guy said but that's a reason they even made Injustice and Superman's regime. If one kill is justified, then others death will be as well.

nobody is saying that superman isn't an unhinged extremist. they are simply saying that the regime's basic philosophy isn't deprived of all merit because its leader is evil. even this final fight clearly demonstrates the flaws of batman's philosophy. despite batman decided to pull the trigger first and getting the drop on superman, he refuses to commit to permanently depowering superman with the gold kryptonite. this leads to a fight with a 50% chance of failure, great injury to both sides, and an undetermined amount of collateral damage. Batman lacks the resolve to find permanent solutions, and they don't even have to involve killing for him to get gun shy and because of that earth will eventually die a death of a thousand cuts as new evils threaten earth, never being fully defeated until humanity collapses under the weight of it all. if the multiverse wasn't fictionally scripted by writers, batman's philosophy would have doomed earth long ago and next to that, superman's way may very well be the lesser evil in this context.

@@bonzwah1Batman's point of view isn't that criminals shouldn't be put to death. It's that they (being the Justice League) shouldn't be the ones to enforce it. At the end of the day, they are vigilantes operating outside the law. With that in mind, they should hold more restraint to prove to the populace that they mean no harm and are only there to protect. becoming the judge and executioner goes against what they stood for in the first place. If you're gonna blame the whole no-death fiasco blame it on the governments who for some reason refuse to kill these psychos.

wtf batman, not only do you start the fight, but you also refuse to finish it. you have a GOLD KYRPTONITE DAGGER. you literally have the perfect nonlethal permanent countermeasure to superman. hell, you even have supergirl on your side now so you literally don't even need superman's power as a resource for earth. if you have the balls to strike first, why not make your shot count? just depower him and win the fight. but no, instead we need to have a long drawn out fight where the outcome is in question and lots of collateral damage can result. that's why, irredeemable as the writers have made superman, batman is, at best, the lesser evil, not the hero.

Michael Bleckler They don't favor him. It's a story based off a comic book where superman does indeed becomes a villian. You can argue that Batman is being made to LOOK like the true hero, even though he has many other characters in story that believes that what Batman is fighting for is indeed true justice. Also, come on man. Two of the biggest faces of DC fighting against each other is a pretty good story to tell.

Batman ending = 👍🏻 Superman ending = 👎🏻

I already hated superman for being too overpowered with his only weaknesses being magic,red sun,and a fucking glowing green rock. this game only makes it worse...not only is superman an asshole but he is basically a dark side clone. and I can't understand why anyone would be on his side at all.

huan gia No it's not you dumbass. Yeh it shows that there are 2 different endings but it doesn't at all spoil the story. Only a dumbass would click this thinking they were going to be spoiled.

HTX_JAYY this is not the main D.C. Continuity, this is all taking place in an alternate universe. Which is why in the first game this batman went got our justice league from the main continuity that we know to help him beat this evil superman.

This is an alternate Superman. Using Injustice as an excuse to hate Superman is like using All-Star Batman and Robin as an excuse to hate Batman.
