I honestly like how this Manta is sympathetic while still a horrible person. He has no loyalty to anyone but himself, is prejudiced against enhanced beings, yet he we empathize with him because of how he lost his father but that's no excuse for his actions. Interestingly enough, Manta crosses the line when Darkseid offers him a place. As much as he hates Arthur for his father's death, serving Darkseid is infinitely worse

I never did like how the producers repeated so many motions/actions for so many characters. Cheeta/and the other girl. All three speedsters. Captain Cold/Mr. Freeze. Super Girl/Power Girl. Etc.

Vixen is a skin for Cheetah. Mr. Freeze is a skin for Captain Cold. Reverse-Flash and Jay Garrick are skins for Barry Allen. Power Girl is a skin for Super Girl. They're not their own characters.

@goldgamercommenting2990 Floats makes more sense given that Manta is associated with water and because everyone's body will bloat after death at the 3-5 day mark. So saying let's see if your body will bloat doesn't make sense.

@@ethancarter1983 yeah, in the original version(spoiler alert) he was sexually abused as a child and he noticed aqua man in the distance but he didn’t notice him back In the 2nd version he suffers an arguably worse fate, he is admitted to a mental asylum because he is autistic and the doctors don’t know how to handle him And he also suffered abuse as well, his hate for aqua man stemmed from When he watched him on tv as a kid combined with all the suffering he endured when he was a kid

My version of manta (who once again is nova) except hes a young kid who saved the arthur curry of his earth, who was an atlantean researcher, who repid him with a prototype manta suit, meant for the royal guard, but colored to be blue instead.
