    I just wish they would show you how to do it correctly because they're still not showing you how to do it correctly in this video because you're supposed to give the Covid vaccine through the muscle deltoid Ed make sure you don't hit any blood vessels or intravenously if you injected intravenously then you could cause By Richard Davis and other words inflammation of the heart Ed these people they're administering the vaccines mostly in America in the United Kingdom when they put the needle and they don't draw back so they don't know if they hit a blood vessel or not we are supposed to do is draw back and if you see blood you throw the needle out and you get another one if you drive back and you don't see blood that you push the vaccine in because then you know that you're in the muscle not the blood vessels 🚢. it's crazy because I got my vaccine five months ago and I wish that I knew what I do know about how to administer the vaccines correctly because I promise you that millions of people got the vaccine administered the wrong wayAnd that's why you're seeing some cases of heart inflammation it's not life-threatening or something that will stick with you forever but it's still an unnecessary risk

    This technique cannot be used in the case of covid-19 vaccines. I am waiting for the right moment and I will accuse them of manslaughter or injury, because this technique is TOTAL incompetence and I can prove it according to actual medical knowledge.

    The last technique was intra-dermal. They took it off the market. Was causing bulls eye rashes on skin. I had one and gave it to myself because I wanted to save the IM for my patients. It was promoted as needle”less and smaller needle but actually hurt more and cause more skin reactions

    Technique 2 is the best. Switching hands gives you so much control over the needle. When you inject with 1 hands your holding the end of the needle and have least amount of control. You want all the medication to go straight into the muscle not side ways and moving around. Try it out. Most nurses are taught 1 hand but it’s an old style and can cause bruising

    Why why why with a 90° angle? That needle is long, and there has to be a bone somewhere! Why not a shorter needle? How can the injecting person ensure to not hit the bone?

  • @kunikathakare2563

    @kunikathakare2563

    There are a couple reasons. First to make sure the drug is injected deep into the muscle. If you inject at 45 degrees a significant portion of the needle is used to get through the three layers of the skin and subcutaneous tissue and the sharp end of the needle might not penetrate far enough into the muscle. Some IM given meds are damaging to subcutaneous tissue. I have a friend that when her MD gave her a shot of antibiotics in her glut and didn’t have a long enough needle and got it into the subQ tissue it destroyed the fat cells and now she has s permanent divot the size of a quarter in her butt cheek. Second large needles scare people. So come at them with the shortest needle possible and approach at 90 degrees to make sure it hits the mark. Hope this helps.

    @@kunikathakare2563 Thanks Kunika for explaining this. I have this thought: I touch myself roughly at the place where the needle gets inserted. I saw that injection needles are long. I can push with my finger into the skin. It’s obvious to me that the bone is very near. I can feel the bone at maybe 1cm distance. So it seems to me that a 3 cm needle would easily hit my bone. How can we be sure to *not* hit the bone?

  • @mcurry2510

    @mcurry2510

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@att.6134 almost all IM injections to arms below deltoid are 1 inch like kunika said it must reach muscle. SubQ injections need shorter needles .75 inch and change the angle of attack because need go in that tissue. Practically you place 3 finger widths below the should bone and inject there. And yes you are going hit the bone sometimes it is inevitable. You give vaccines to older women who have zero muscle. You do your best and do the guide. When you hit the bone you feel it, so pull it back a little and inject. Most people don’t even realize you hit the bone. I’ve given over 1500 vaccines. It won’t hurt your patient if you hit bone. Try to avoid. I’ve prob hit bone like 5 times in 1000 patients. No harm. Some people just don’t have any muscle there

    Pharmacists do a 14 hour training and take numerous tests on vaccine schedules for peds and adults including hands on injections and required to do 4 CE credits a year on immunization and adult and pediatric aed/cpr, and BLS. This technique has way more control of the needle by injecting with opposite hand. Injecting with same hand causes bruises all the time cause have less control of the needle I’ve given over 1500 vaccines. Nurses and pharmacists should collaborate the courses together. I do not recommend technique 1 because he used sucked the needle back while it was in the arm. Those syringes auto release when you push the tip in really hard. Recommend doing that after it is removed from arm. Technique 2 is the best The subcutaneous are a lot more difficult to administer
