The thread injection mold is a very classic mold. There are many types of ejection methods for threaded plastic parts. The plastic part is separated from the threaded core by different mechanism or approaches.
I recommend 19 common thread injection molds. This video is the first half. And contains 9 types.
1. Threaded core is returned while rotating (1).
The mandrel of this structure can be moved back and forth. In order for the core gear to mesh well with the drive rack, the rack must be widened. The core tail rotates in the guide nut.
2.Threaded core is returned while rotating (2).
The gears do not move axially. The gear and the mandrel are connected by a spline. This method is suitable for situations where the core stroke is long.
3.Threaded core is returned while rotating (3).
The gear does not move axially, and the core and the gear shaft are connected by a telescopic coupling.
4.The threaded core only rotates without retreating (1).
The threaded plastic part is on the side of the movable mold, and the thread only rotates without returning. The exterior of the plastic part has a pattern that prevents rotation.
5.The threaded core only rotates without retreating (2).
The threaded plastic part is on the side of the movable die and the threaded core only rotates and does not return. The anti-rotation pattern is on the inside of the plastic part.
6.The threaded core only rotates without retreating (3).
The threaded plastic part is on the side of the movable die and the threaded core only rotates and does not return. The stop pattern is on the top of the plastic part.
7.The angle slider intermittently unscrews the internal thread.
After opening the mold, the slant slider is moved along the guide groove of the core under the action of the ejector rod, and the slider is pulled out from the plastic part.
8.Automatic unscrew thread mold.
Use a screw fastened to the fixed die side to pull out the screw sleeve on the moving die side during parting to force the screw sleeve to rotate. Thus, the gear is driven to drive the threaded core to rotate, so that the plastic part is detached from the threaded core. To prevent the plastic parts from rotating with the core. The push plate bears against the plastic part under the action of the spring and plays a role of stopping rotation.
9.Angle pin disengages external threads.
When the mold is opened, the slider moves to release the external thread of the product under the action of the inclined pin.
