@@Blitz_Protogen every movies/anime use real car sound (even if you gonna synthesize it you still need real car sound) but most of the time hollywood just gonna tweak it A LOT, meanwhile initial D just keep it nice and raw

I find it weird how because Itsuki pit a turbo in his 85 its SFX now turn to Takumi's old 4-AGE but with a turbo sound Like, couldn't they just get an 85 sound and put the turbo sound over it?

They probably recycled the sound from wataru's old turbo engine and used it for itsuki's 85

I think he said “B6”, which more or less refers to the engine in his Miata, a B6ZE.

It isn't V6 swapped, but it was stroked out from the standard 1.6 liters to 1.8

Sound stage is nothing but battle stage without the eurobeat so this would be battle stage 2, where most clips were 4th and 5th stage.
