Hi Gift! These initial costs are standard for the entire Italy. How much you spend in each city is what differ. Macerata University is in Marche region which is in central Italy. The prices of things there generally are lower than those in Milan. Some costs are the same, like the cost of the study permit, SIM card and internet. Rent, groceries and transportation are the costs that differ significantly
