Huge Japan and David Sylvian fan since the 80s. What a criminally under-appreciated poet, composer and musician that man is. Thank you for the wonderful music Mr Sylvian

Far from the comment , David was /is not under rated , never has been , he just started as he meant to carry on , never letting mainstream journalism into his ethos because during his most important work to date in 1982 with Tin Drum he was dealing with books titled "The last Romantic " , it was like asking "Jacques Brel" to do a duet with George Formby ,,, if that sounds crazy to you , then you see what he was up against , hence being more enigmatic and distancing his self from NME and Melody Maker etc etc , so not under rated ,,, he was very rated , but was very cautions all through his absolutely amazing journey

as a kid at a label i had to some remix work for Sylvians publisher, I really had no idea. I moved to Japan for work became more aware of his work. now 20 years later his songs really takes me back to those grey corridors of Tokyo, the isolation, the sexiness, the rain. Im researching a sample and god damn ..Ingrid Chavez, wrote those amazing vocals & married Sylvian & had babies, wow what a life! inspring role models xx
