InFrames is an urban retrospective of Barcelona’s most iconic skate spots. From 1999 to 2009, Mark Frölich takes us back 10 years, as he casually skates classic spots, reminding us of a golden era in skateboard video history.
Created by Daniel Kriesl (filmed and directed) and Aiden Tuff (creative direction and post-production), this video project is all about skateboarding. Home to an wealth of historical sites, Barcelona is universally recognized as one of the world's tourism and culture capitals. With its unique architecture, made predominantly from marble, it is renowned as one of the world’s most famous, and possibly best, skateboard cities. This combination provides the perfect backdrop for a project of this kind. It's completely designed to be a nostalgic retrospective of some of the city’s most famous moments in classic skateboard videos like Flip’s Sorry, Zero's Misled Youth, éS’s Menikmati, and its abundance of iconic skate “spots.”

i moved to barcelona 3 years ago, best fucking thing i ever did, when you come here hit me up we can skate like madmans tho, les corts skatepark is very good and also the new banks on the arc the triumph.

So dope. I remember all of those historic clips. I skated for 16 years but I got lethargic in my old age, didn't have the energy to do it how I wanted to anymore by the time I was 26. Pretty sure Andrew Reynolds did a nollie cab down the MACBA 4 too, was expecting that clip to be in there.

2 month ago I was bachelor-partying with my bros in Barcelona. We wandered at night in the streets and got to this awesome place at 3:30 in the video. The spot is fire.

Parallel, I used to live around the corner, but back then I didn't skate yet; only started last year. Will definitely go back to BCN to give this spot and many others a try.

@@JM1675 Got back at the spot in march by surprise and the same way. We got to the top of Montjuïc and from there if you follow the road down to the city you are just a couple blocks from it. Good luck with your skating bruh!

love barca went for a skate trip and stumbled upon parrael while finding a place to smoke. literally you can skate and find history but it all starts at macba

If you love skating, every era is a golden era. Even when everyone had bearing size wheels on big boards and massive pants doing ugly as hell pressure flips. Times like those gave us the mid 90s and early 2000s so on and so forth
