hi DYI Save, i am trying to get tv service for someone who's old and not good at navigating menus. with a mag box, is the picture right there on the tv as soon as you turn on the tv? or the user needs to press some buttons to navigate to the live tv?

My mag 424w3 remote's left right and ok keys stop working intermittently. I turn it off for a while then start and then they work. What should I do? Can you please help..

DONT hot swap hdmi cables It can damage the hdmi port on your tv Always connect the power supply plug last after ethernet & hdmi

For this mag 424w3 , with the given remote control, how do you scroll channels Page Up/ Page Dn? I dont see any buttons on this remote. Can you tell me if this is possible? Thx

It's the arrow up and down on the remote. That's how I do it if I understood the question right.

Tell me about it! I know exactly what your talking about. My box won’t scroll through the list with the little screen playing until you tune in. It’s maddening! After messing with it seems to apparently let me scroll sometimes if I push EPG button enough lol., Sorry I couldn’t give you a better answer but honestly I am frustrated with the same thing!

I had the same issue with the remote when I bought the mag 324, I didn't like the fact when I was VOD or tv series I couldn't press pause or ff and rw, so I just used my mag 322 remote till I ordered a replacement mag 322 remote works better than these new remotes that come with 324 and upwards boxes the new remotes look better and modern but are really limited

Hi, i got a portal url from a provider and it loads into a black screen. Saw another video whre the guy had to put in "ntp server" is that needed to solve the black screen? Or is my box faulty or the url i was given is bad? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It looks like wrong url to me. Send screenshot or url and validate the url with them. I have entered wrong URL in the past.

Remote control for the 424 is going to make me pull my hair out. After finally resolving the blocked STB update issue, I find I have issues with the remote like I can’t get the screen to scroll down and choose a channel it just automatically tunes in it’s got a total mind of its own this remote!! Can you do a video on that?

I don't like the new may remotes so I just bought a old mag 322 remote it has the best buttons when watching movies as it has pause play FF few etc

do you recommend a trustworthy IPTV provider?

dont think you can change the font size. Resolution I kept 1280 one.

424 W3 will be faster with a newer processor. The rest is pretty much the same.

I just bought mag 524 w3, when i run speed test on it, it only shows 8 or 9 mbps. But when i run the speed test on my laptop it shows 98 mbps. my internet speed is 100 mbps. Any suggestions? Thanks

You put in a service program in system settings with a provider like myself and the provider adds credits each month.

Everything working perfectly ...but the software have BUG..some times is stacking and you must unplug of the power and plug again in the power ..and it fixes

Thanks. I did see this problem in the beginning but havent seen it since some time. May be there has been update.

When I tried to set it up, I got a message "No Signal" Please check the power of the external devices and cable connection status. I want to hook up by wifi not hard wired

I think this is more of HDMI issue than unit. You might want to check other HDMI connections to see if it shows up?

Only IPTV. If you would like to watch netflix then you may want to buy fire stick 4k then you can watch it in there. Remote sucks in fire stick 4k for iptv controls and biggest issue is searching specific content.

424w3 seems to be stable. I have no issues. I have not tried new once 524w3 so I cant comment.

If you go to main menu, you can do it through System Update section. That's how I do it. You can also do it through USB but you need to make sure you get the right version of the firmware.

Several of us have asked? He doesn't know. I use Heat live and Head vod and get all the channels I need. I also downloaded other iptv servers such as Bee, Cinema and get thousands of channels.

@@radicaltv199 please watch the video for setup. Just find the service provider. the box comes with service provider information you want to try that first. Enter the link in the portal and restart mag. hope this helps!
