    As an iNFJ I found it interesting what you said about the N being better at analyzing problems, because it's true! I have noticed that intuitives have a special ability to see "outside the box" and see things in more depth, as the phrase "you see, but you do not observe" says, I think it applies perfectly to intuitives, sensors tend to be more "closed mind" and "practical" in general.

    Exactly what I was thinking. The worst part is that it is likely. Somebody new to MBTI finding out they're INFJ are likely to have not come across Kristen but are also likely to be recommended INFJ stuff. Watch those INFJ stuff and eventually this will be recommended, especially over other Kristen content which tend to be for all types.

    As an INFJ, I will put it this way. The criteria is basically who we divulge are more personal thoughts about. What we really think about the world while at the same time also being proactive in who we want to talk to. We are introverts, so we will not be sure of who to trust right off the bat and, frankly, it’s tiring to work around other people’s needs. We are very guarded inwardly, but outwardly we are open enough to listen to what others need. In its best form, it’s comforting. In its worst, it’s manipulative. But that second case is only the worst case. Which I would hope never comes to past, but people are unique, so who knows?

    Is there a lore developing? First the INTJ realising the characters are in a puppet-mastered fake realm and the ENTJ trying to suppress this fact as seen in the ghost and kidnapping skits, then the beginning of the civil war between the INTP and ENTP, and now an INFJ doing a deep dive about the others, thinking they won’t ever see it, but it has, in fact, been released to the world by the ESFP? Maybe a ‘16 personalities in a reality TV show’ like big brother could be a next skit? 😃

    @@KarlJeager the question for me there is how do you insure that the people are ultimately attuned enough and in charge enough to displace bad actors and systems when necessary. Given the state of things, I'd say that is the core problem society ultimately can't quite get around. Change will happen, people will be selfish, lessons of history will be forgotten, but people adapt. However, the decay of institutuons, and failure of goverments in particular to really think long term seem a constant of our species. It's a tough nut to crack at least.

    INTJs could only go so far with their physical and mental limitations. Leave it to God/the Creator. He will take care of everything and will eventually make all things new in His time when humanity is ripe for a harvest. I don't know if any of you believe in a supreme mastermind Who has ZERO sin/imperfection/character flaw/weakness that also created the entire universe, but I believe in such a being exists. Observing the seemingly endless reaches of outer space down to the most microscopic level of our material realm, there has to be more than what we percieve with our senses and thoughts. I suggest try studying the Holy Bible. It's not only a source of providing practical and moral guidelines on how to have fulfilling lives despite hardships or injustices surrounding us, it's very much a chronology of the fallen human condition as it foretells future revolutionary events that have yet to unfold. A future where the saints and humble redeemed are granted eternal life and joy, while the wicked and proud unrepentant are resigned to perish in the lake of fire. Like how God is completely independent from time and space, He is able to see everything from start to finish, and these special developments illustrated through prophecies. The current world order is coming to an end, but is going to usher in a brand new world without evil and corruption, a place where perfect love and justice prevails.

We want to be the best versions of ourselves and have incredibly high standards for ourselves and believe that we are fully capable of being truly amazing human beings, but when the reality hits and we fail to meet those standards, we think we have failed and feel bad about ourselves. So we are trapped within the idealizations of our minds and we rarely can purely just focus on the present moment without thinking of how things should be. I don't know how judgmental INFJs are in general towards others but I don't recognize that in myself. I am reserved, she jumps right into social situations. I really understand peoples motivations, and warn her about them, she has an easy time asking for help and networking. I am great at strategizing on how to approach people to get what I want in the most efficient way, she is very ambitious and hardworking. While I take a long time to finish or even start projects, her motivation is often other people's expectations. I think in our 20 years as friends we have really made each other grow without constantly crossing boundaries and I appreciate that so much.

Something is off about her... If she doesn't think ISFPs like talking about their personal feelings (come on, it's a huge part of our dominant function!!), then she simply doesn't know us!!!! Fi-doms are all about the feelings! But we hate passive aggression, and she seems to exude it, sadly... I don't surpress wounds, I just hide them from judgemental people. My real-life INFJ friends are the best! And fun side note, I've noticed the INFJs I know tend to get along particularly well with ISTP, ISFP, INFP, and ISTJ. as an INTJ here who HAS been through extensive therapy (due to depression - though NOT depressed any more - thank god), i disagree with your analysis of us. we ABSOLUTELY ARE DEEPLY AWARE **BOTH** of ourselves AND others. maybe on a stereotypical (on the internet) level, YES, i ABSOLUTELY DO AGREE with you here - and i myself ABSOLUTELY AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with the stereotypical way my fellow INTJs portray themselves online as well as how we are perceived. however, in reality, we in general ABSOLUTELY ARE >>>>>>>>> INFINITELY

    As an INFJ I found this really funny. Even the tier list placements, I would have done the exact same list. Except I would have put the INFJ in *"Thinks they're self-aware but really they're over-analysing everything"* , or *"Doing the work"* cause I'm actually really not that smug and if I were, that would totally be on purpose to annoy someone who deserved it. Even the weakness for ENTP is correct (even though I know they should go in *"Suppressing wounds"* ...)

    It seems you portray INFJs very accurately here, it made me almost angry. I have some trouble sometimes with the INFJ's in my life. Their passive-agressiveness and manipulative tendencies that they try to mask is hurting my heart a lot and makes me avoid them or want to shut them out of my life. Or I try to "joke" back at them when I'm actually hurt. Now I am thinking that I will practice radical honesty and simply tell them how they make me feel, that should work, I guess. Greetings from an oversensitive INTP (or INFP or whatever, I don't believe so much in categories).

    INFJ who's best friends with an INTP here. We have worked on our communication styles. And it works very well. I would advice honesty but told respectfully (or even gently depending on your INFJ sensitivity). I'm sorry about the passive-aggressiveness, truly, it's like an automatisme that is hard to "unlearn". I don't know what to say about their manipulative tendency, without context. So maybe be careful about yourself?

  • @sham9411

    @sham9411

    9 ай бұрын

    Sorry about that. Please never joke about it. Tell them directly that you don’t appreciate the passive aggressive tone, and tell them how you want to be treated. Passive aggressiveness usually indicates the suppression and frustration of an INFJ. We are like wounded animals that hiss and bite to cover up their weakness. We have a difficult time expressing our frustration straightforwardly, so it comes out as passive aggressive remarks. I can infer that you are close to these INFJs because they have already showed you this ugly side of themselves. So gather your strength and, lovingly, stop this erratic behavior. You may help the situation by guiding their thinking. Ask them if they are upset about something, or frustrated with you, and whether you can do anything to fix it. This will be enough to ignite the conscience of an INFJ. Take a step back and allow them time to think and answer. INFJs can be difficult but they are smart. They will appreciate you setting boundaries, standing up for yourself and expressing your feelings directly. If this proceeds, do not accept it.

    @@dearkristin@elisa4620 I did not see the replies but I thought about it and analyzed it (as per character) and I think this is for the better XD because for a long time I thought INFJs had been a somewhat overrated type or like over explained in the sense of “how good” they are, I feel like this could bring some nuance on us. Personally some stereotypes I hate is when they say we are good at reading people. (Edit: specifically other INFJs saying they know what they’re talking about) Like yes but also, could be that because we’re always playing a guessing game of what’s gonna happen next, we cannot help but “look further” on someone. But if we’re honest a lot of times we miss small details or we are too focused on a “vision” that we don’t see what should have been obvious. In other words, we can be wrong 😂😅 I think more INFJs need to admit that. Maybe this arrogant stereotype can shed some light into INFJs. Also other videos with INFJ boot camps as much as I love them and their advice they often use the words “always” and “never” which it is very bold to use on any human. Saying “INFJs will always…or never” is just kinda silly to me. ~end rant
