I think ISFJ is the perfect match for our type. We are so similar in so many ways. It is wonderful being with someone who is as loving, empathetic, compassionate, dedicated, and intelligent as you are. It's beautiful.

Six years with my ISFJ husband. At first I thought he was just a good liar. I put him through the ringer but he didn’t give up on me. He’s been the most thoughtful, caring, loyal and stable man I’ve ever been with. He tells everyone how much he loves me and how proud he is to be my husband. It’s definitely a win win relationship. We balance each other out in the best ways. ❤

This is a lot like the relationship between me and my sister -- we weren't super-close as kids, maybe due to our age difference - I'm 6 years older. But as we got older we got to appreciating each other a lot more, and she shared some things about my actions towards her that she (unbeknownst to me at the time) appreciated a lot. Your description of the ISFJ sounds a lot like her whole approach to life - even to this day.

I Think ISFJ INFJ is a tough sale. on the surface it looks great and is for friendship but for love, I say caution. ISFJ will never get you they cant they will most likely be very happy with you (INFJ) but in contrast you will feel like something is missing. ISFJ is easily hurt and super loyal so its a combo thats rough on the INFJ. the ISFJ will always paint the picture as they are the good one. I say caution

Yep nasty INFJs.... lol just kidding. It is what it is. but yeah I agree. INFJ is too different they reach for the stars and ISFJ judges them based on their stuff... INFJ is too un-certain and abstract and such. So it may not be good.

ISFJ are very traditional and INFJ are more open minded types that don't value tradition as most N types. I bealive they both want to help and have noble goals but they do it differently. For relationship speaking from my point of view Isfj should seek a sentinel type someone that holds same values maybe an ISTJ.

Me an INFJ goes fishing with my ISFJ dad at least 4 times a weak to get the fuck away from my ESTJ mother😅

ISFJ's I think understand us more than many other types. There are a lot of similarities. Sorry your mom is so terrible. I would run if Cruella Deville was my mom.

Hey Wenzes, im infj guy knew an isfj girl we separated but kept in touch now ive learned about infjs you and others good talk, but kinda wish i knew this then you know?

great video! I am an INFJ trying to understand my ISFJ thesis adviser and feel that our worldviews are too different to connect deeply. Do you think that S's and N's are too different to connect in a meaningful way? Or is it just that INFJ's are quite different from everyone and will only share a small fraction of understanding with any personality?

Laura Barone Hey Laura, I don't think that there is a lack of understanding with S types in general. ESTPs for example are suppossed to be a great match and I have had great friendships with STP types on the other hand I have never had someone understand me so little than a specific ENFJ. I think the key is not to wait for others to understand you but to do what you want and like although others might not understand it. By your actions they will rather understand you after a while than my you staying 'small', trying not to offend anyone a.s.o. People are so different, they won't understand you just by intuition like you would understand them for example.

When we are very passionate about making our vision a reality, we can unconsciously try to control things to stay on track with our vision of the future. Sometimes trying to control things, even with the best intentions, can come across as manipulative. Using manipulative tactics is a narcissist trait. Also, always wanting the best, perfectionist, difficulty regulating emotions, feeling depressed, bad with criticism, or a history of abuse from a narcissist. So some similar traits if it's an unhealthy infj but totally different intentions.

@@jd7288 We are all communicating beings, everything is communication, so talking about manipulation would sound almost absurd if we think that everything is regulated by causes and effects. At this point everything would be manipulation, since we are all led to give messages so that the interlocutors share the content. It applies both verbally and non-verbally.

Simply Joe Yes. I mistyped as an INTP at first. I believe it has to do with our fixation on our tertiary function: Ti, which happens to be the INTPs dom. When my Fe was low, I could see myself coming off as an ENTP as well. I was pretty brash, and Se can sort of push you out there like that.

Anyone can mistype as anything. Although, more likely than not they'll mistype as INFJ. There can't be as many INFJs the MBTI community self proclaims. :P

Yes we love Ti very much and this could reault in us thinking we are Intps or sometimes istps. I very often see myself in these types. This is our Ti recognizing itself in others.
