Thank you so much for this. i have been dealing with the AC issue since I bought my car 3 years ago and i just ran into an issue where I could not adjust the A/C and my stereo would not turn on. Removing the fuse got me back up and running then I was astonished to see that that white connector was unhooked. I couldn't b elive that I could actually make my A/C controls work properly!!! You are the man. Thank you so much! Do you have any recomendations on what a good stereo replacement?

This is a very common stereo problem, NOT Audio Finisher like the dealer$hip may say. We repair these stereo often. See our website for repair and removal.

Mostly with the CD, but the radio cuts all the way out. Then, a few minutes later, it'll come back in, sometimes just the right channel. Thanks.

This problem is most common with the '03. However, we have seen the '04-05 with similar problems here in shop for repair too...

U have any experience with the 2007-2008 g35 sedans? My radio wont turn on and a/c stays on. No controls work either. Fuse was blown so I put another one in and that one blew too

@crunnrlls sounds to me like a problem with the ignition switch or a relay that may control your accessories, probably ign switch though. drop the dash and check with volt meter

There are two fuses to the stereo. One is labeled for the stereo - switched +12 volts when the ignition is on. Two - constant +12 volts to the stereo to hold memory, this fuse in many cases is not labeled for the stereo. Some cases, it could be labeled "Back Up".

I’m having a problem On my 2007 g35 sedan where the screen is blank and the all the controls for the a/c stereo don’t work what do you think that might be a fuse ? But I still see light coming from the screen it’s just blank

Yes it was the main radio that wasn’t good . Causing the display not to work replaced the radio and worked fine

I have an 04 G35 Coupe with an aftermarket stereo that works fine, however I'm having issues with the climate controls going dead frequently. After driving a while, they sometimes start working for a bit, however once the car is turned off and restarted they are inoperable again. I've read a lot of posts on the internet saying it's a Bose stereo issue, but since I don't have that system I'm at a loss. Any suggestions or troubleshooting ideas? Thanks.

I have the Bose system with navigation and DVD player in the arm rest. I do not have a drop down screen on the ceiling because it has a sun roof. I believe the Bose has two speaker on the head rest of each front seat, one on the front dashboard, one in back behind the back seat just under the rear window, and one on each door. I hope this is enough information. Have you seen this problem before? If you have any more questions for me feel free to call or email me.

Key off. You are removing the constant +12 volts to the stereo. This removes all power to the stereo to reset. If problems persist, this is a repair issue. Please see the link in the video for repair.

Thank you for this great info.. I have an 03 Coupe, I had once a problem with the AC it went on alone just after i turned the vehicle on, then after i turned it of then on every thing was okay. Now I have a trouble with the CD changer it displays "CD ERROR FO" but my radio and tape players are ok..... Any help please I'm not in USA and over here its hard to troubleshoot that!!!!!!!

2006 M35 I turn the car on after it has been sitting awhile all I hear is static. I have to turn volume really high to hear the static. As I drive the radio station becomes more and more clear. Sometimes I'll suddenly hear a crack/pop and the system will work as it should and everything sounds great. Recently, the crack/pop has stopped happening. I can listen to the radio with lots of static but have to turn the volume up to pass the half way point just to hear it.

My 06 sedan radio now hisses and crackles .it started funny yesterday and now the radio is noisy,bad only when the engine is running and all DC and ac voltage are ok like you said ac volts starts off at .235 and quickly falls to. 000

I'm troubleshooting a friends a 2007 G35. The battery is draining due to 0.4A parasitic current. It goes away after pulling the #37 (AUDIO) fuse in the engine-fuse-box (mentioned in video). The only problem is that apparently to operate the A/C system the Audio system must have power.

I have my 04 G35 with bose audio and no navigation. Tlall the ac and radio buttons work. But no sound. Changed the amp and it still has the same issue

Hi thanks for the video. I have a 2002 v35 with volume problems. Can you please advise me or direct me to the power loom wires that run the stereo and ac that go into the stereo as mine have all come out (me being careless) and I dont want to get the wires in the wrong place. I still may need to send my stereo to you for repair though

If the radio is working can it still be the problem causing the ac/heat not to work. We brought it to Electronic masters in Duluth GA and they repaired the circuit board but still no ac/heat. They are not sure what to do next. They are very very helpful but when he called the dealer they did not know what else to tell him to do.

great video. I have a 2003 g35 sedan that has been giving me this problem for a while. I have replaced the radio unit with another oem one and im still getting this drain once and a while...its seems to be intermittent, it will come and go. I've read that the amp is powering on and making a draw. Is this a malfunction with the amp itself or does the radio control that? In other words, is the radio powering on the amp, or is the amp faulty? thanks

A few weeks ago I removed the radio fuse like you instructed but I'm continuing to have the same problem even after I jumped the car and left it running for an hour. Could this be because my battery doesn't hold a charge any longer after a few months of dying every day? So if I went and replaced my battery and left the radio fuse out, it should work?

i have a used 2004 g35x.. it has a 6 disc changer and tape deck.. on the tape deck it says bose.. the audio volume is extremely low. i dont see an amp anywhere in the vehicle. do you think this is a bad headunit?

Where do i start??? i just got this 2003 infiniti g35 sedan. the problem is the cruise control light comes on but the cruise control does not work. also, i have a problem with the sub whoofers. they go on and off every now and then.

chaz miller I had the same problem today, I know I’m 7 years late but for anyone wondering, take out the radio fuse located by the battery, keep it out for a minute and put it back in and it’ll work

So my radio is not responsive at all and my ac is on full blast what do I do?

Great videos! I seem to have an SVC issue, where the stereo volume sometimes cuts all the way out as I'm accelerating or decelerating past, say, 20 mph. And sometimes just the left cuts out at 20, then comes back on at 45 or whatever. Like the SVC is trying to do its thing, but can't. Any solutions, please?

Hi, I've got similar problems with my 03 G35 coupe. so my AC works fine, but my radio wont turn off. the volume works from the steering wheel an the panel. I took out the fuse 15A and it stopped my air conditioning and radio. I did it so it wouldnt drain the battery.. i am reading a lot of different things but nothing specifically pin points my problem.. any help please!

You have opened a can of worms we can not help with. We do not do aftermarket. However, if the stereo was replaced and you still have a battery draw, it was not the stereo.

The G35 in most cases has a Bose system, we suggest repair. There is no GREAT replacement.

@bumblebeecbr You could unplug the amplifier, it is located in the trunk bolted to the bottom of the rear package shelf. See if the current draw continues. My guess would be the stereo, again. With the number of these stereos we see in shop for repair this is a stereo problem. See carstereohelp (dot) com

my air conditioner and radio were unresponsive after a faulty battery jump. took it into a local audio shop and had it fixed for $100. don't get scammed by stealerships!

I know this is super late but I am having the exact same issue right now. As the other guy asked, what all did they do to fix it? My AC buttons and stereo buttons do nothing.

Are you the original owner? Call your local dealership with your VIN, ask if you have the Bose system. A Bose stereo in a non-Bose system will give extremely low volume.

Cruise control, I'm no help with this one... As for intermittent subwoofers, this is usually an amplifier problem.
