Thank You for posting your video with installing the Borla Catback Exhaust. I have couple of questions: I think watching the removal and installation, installing the Borla Exhaust did not remove the two Cats from the car? The other question, since your bought Borla, do you happen to have a discount code available? I am seriously interested to purchase one to my 2010 FX50S but the price is well above $1000 now so thought to see if you have a code available ? Let me know!

Thanks for posting FX50/QX70s mod videos they are so rare. I have a 2011 Fx50 and there’s not a lot of people who even know they exist! Have you thought about modding your shifter with one from the q60 it’s waaaay better check it out!

Kevin Cunningham yeah I’ve been eyeing that shifter and a different steering wheel for a while now. I wanna do a head to head with a 2014 Jeep srt kid a review in the future, that should help put it on the map!

Doesnt fit. Just bough one for my 2010 fx50s. Lol the shifter boot doesnt fit the shifter knob.

Good video, the FX have been my favorite suv for a long time. About borla, those welds on the exhaust are shit. I can’t believe that they have the guts to sell their products like this.

I agree with you it’s wild what they just pass off as good welds lol

Always use some sort of grease cleaning chemical on the surface and then let it fully dry off for the preperation of the sound matt install.

Nice video bro..did you notice more power after the install? Going from that y-pipe to the H-pipe borla system should have increased the exhaust flow which should have given you more horse power.. I have a 2011 Infiniti M56s and I installed an X-pipe on mine and I definitely noticed the increase in power

Honestly no, from what I’ve seen it requires a shop tune with some software.

Did you drop a V8 in your qx70 from the previous video when you installed the AEM air filters ? I am interested.... Looking forward to hearing from you

No the 2014 QX70 was the last year for the V8

They don’t make any it’s going to be a custom job whatever you do. They make dragon style headlights in Russia and other places google it up.

What about moded ? Intick filter ? Program ? The engine 5.0 ✈️✈️

No big engine mods, just AEM intake filters.

Nope , Hangers will be in different locations. However maybe an exhaust shop could alter that?

Hope you are doing well. I am installing the Borla S on my 2013 FX50S. The left side pipe (driver side) that connect to the cat flange is touching the floor and is banging against the floor when driver. Did you have this issue ?

That’s strange I did not experience that issue. Maybe you reverse the y pipe? Is it upside down?

OKay bro, i have been on the market searching for this car with no results. I am specifically looking for the 5.0L V8 like yours. No luck! This shit is so rare, i wonder why. I am guessing yours is 2014 model, right? I have even called Infiniti dealerships near where i live, nothing. I am guessing i will have to settle for a 2013 fx50s. Which QX70 trim comes with a V8? And finally where and when did you buy yours? Did you have to do a lot of searching when you bought yours? I apologize for these many questions. It is just unbelievable that an Infiniti could be so rare that it would be totally off the market...lol

Yeah it took me months of searching and waiting I found mine on CarGurus I believe and it was in Atlanta had it shipped to me. The 2014 QX70S trim is 1/1000 super unicorn rare. Settling for a 2013 is basically the same

The QX70S and 2013 FX50S are the same car, but I think the former -which you have-is more valuable since it is rarer (i would hold on to that car and put less mileage on it). I'll wait an extra month, if i don't find it i have to ' go for' an FX50s, which i'm already having a hard time finding an S trim. Thanks again, you got a sub from me!

It being rare will only ever hold value in eyes of the beholder. Nada and KBB will mark them all the same and the value is null. Basically when I sold it, another enthusiast was the one who made the deal not a random person. So keep that in mind when the time does come that you have to sell it.

@@AtlasWilder hey bro, i finally found one at a discount price, low mileage. Seller is ready to make a deal, he's an older gentleman, he has other cars so he rarely drives it, garage kept and babied. I am so lucky, right? Wrong! lol....the car is all the way in Canada. The only one in Canada I believe. It is too much work to import a car to the US even from Canada, So, I painfully give up... lol. I might just settle for a 2016 QX70s or A7
