Infinite is the reason why these newer generation try so hard to be synchronized, they popularized it. They were one of the first groups to hit it big becoming a threat to the big 3 (SM,YG, JYP), part of the reason being due to Be Mine hitting big with the public and also their insane "knife dance choreography, and live vocals. They are so underrated in the sense that these newer generation fans, especially international fans don't know all the achievements and contributions to Kpop, Infinite has made over their 10+ career. They are so talented, glad to see more people reacting to them, truly a talented and hardworking group.

Infinite is technically still an active group but haven’t had a comeback in a few years because the members where doing thier military service. It’s also hard to count popularity of songs and groups from 1- early 3rd Gen because streaming KZread MVs to up the viewcount didn’t really become a thing until 2016/2017 so a lot of iconic old MVs and groups don’t have many views. Infinite were the OG kings of Synchronization. And thier choreography was deceptively complex, which wasn’t very common in the early 2010s. They really up the game when it came to choreography. But they are also hilariously crowned “it’s your dance, why can’t you dance it” award on weekly idol for forgetting their own choreography when they’re not in stage xD.

In eye each member represents each emotion. Hate - Dongwoo Fear - Sungyeol Desperation - sungjong Forgiveness - woohyun Regret - Hoya Sadness - L Courage - Sungyu The light here denotes his wish to suicide, so the other members are trying to pull him away from that thought. He is constantly in fight with his inner self. But atlast he gets the courage to fight back. That's why sungyu is one who is switching the light on.

Be Mine MV may not look good compared to today’s kpop but because of that song, they were able to get their First ever win in multiple music shows and from it they became one of the most popular group who came from a small company (which was a HUGE achievement to be able to compete with the Big 3 at that time). To put it simply, Infinite literally saved their company’s ass from bankruptcy. And they became big within just 2 years after debuting. Also, when choreo was not the main focus in kpop at that time, they became the pioneer for sharp & synchronised choreo in the kpop industry. We, Inspirit are patiently waiting for our King’s comeback. :)

It's been more than 10 years but still we inspirits wonder why sungjong is given such a catchy color dress😂😂😂.

Infinite’s discography is amazing You def have to watch “The Chaser” which billboard has ranked at #3 of best kpop songs of the decade. They were revolutionary for their time, especially 2011-2015 was definitely their peak. My personal favorites are Last Romeo, Back, Bad, and Man in Love (kind of an odd ball in their more darker discography, but it’s a BOP). Their dance for Before the Dawn got them a lot of attention for their “Scorpion Dance”. They were known as the kings of synchronization along with SHINee

They're one of the eldest existing group today, Infinite has their own unique songs and production and I love them for that. Still Proud to be called an Inspirit!

plz check out their BAD & TELL ME! i love all their songs cuz they're all such bops! all their songs were SUPER HITS globally! all the members are such talented all rounders, but i especially love how vocally superior they are! and ofcourse the acting skills are a bonus!

one thing i always flex about this group is that their rappers are also pretty great vocalists too, they could belt high notes too

Infinite is a 7 members boy group debuted in 2010 with their title song "Comeback again", "be mine" are their first ever song that get a win in music show and this song save them from disbandment. It's true that the ceo sold his house for their debut but the group went extra miles to promote themselves by promoting it on the street and they got their win in september 2011 and they are able to gain recognition from then on. Their choreography is great, and they are famous as one of the first groups that introduced synchronized dance in kpop. They have 2 rappers who could sing just as good as their vocalists. Their fans, inspirits, also the first fandom that use "eating CD" term because their live performance is no joke, with knife like dance they sing their songs live! As for the eye MV, it tells us about L (the main character) who want to give up his live and the other 6 members are his emotions, they tried to bring him back and prevent him to end his life. Infinite has distinctive songs, when you listened to their songs they have their own unique color. They tried some modern song too, you can check it on: -Infinite "Bad" (2015) -Infinite "Tell Me" (2018) The eye here means "the eye of the storm, it is a place in the center of a storm and the most calm despite its chaotic surrounding. In 2017 their contract end with woollim, 6 of them decided to renew their contract but unfortunately one of the, hoya, the rapper and the dance machine decided to not renew and withdraw from infinite. He is a soloist and an actor right now. In 2019, L or Myungsoo, also decided not to renew after his second contract with woollim expired but he is still part of Infinite. And the most recent news, yesterday, Sunggyu (the leader) also decided not to renew his contract with woollim following his contract expiration on march 6th 2021 but he is staying as infinite members and leader. Their 2nd contract end on different times because of their military enlistment. So in conclusion the group are still there buat some of the members are not under woollim anymore, and they need to wait some more to make group comeback because some of the members are still serving their military duty. The funny thing about retro INFINITE tracks is that they weren't even timely 10 years ago. They were always retro and they always sounded different. It was actually around 2015 or so 5 years after debut that they finally started moving closer to modern sounds. It was actually kind of scary as a fan at the time. Lots of people in the general kpop fandom would complain that INFINITE's songs always sounded the same while other popular groups were chameleons each comeback. Some Inspirits were eager to see INFINITE move on, but others were afraid of the group losing their unique color and wanted them to keep doing their own thing a couple paces away from mainstream. When they finally did change their sound, I was relieved that (as you mentioned), you can still hear and their original influences and colors despite the major shift.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! INFINITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i miss them lot.... these boys literally paved the way, they've been through so much, only respect and love for them!!!

Also yeah, Infinite saved their company from bankruptcy with Be Mine (if Be Mine had flopped, Infinite would have disbanded and Woollim's CEO would be drowning in debt haha)

Be Mine was like a national anthem in that era. The song means a lot to INFINITE and his fan that without the song they were possibly to be disbanded. The Eye is the last song that we have 7 members (Hoya, the main rapper and main dancer left the group after the end of the contract and became solo artist). This group is very well-known for their 99.9% synchronize dance and king of live performance for the 2nd generation. Please check their other songs such as The Chaser, Last Romeo, Back, Bad and songs by INFINITE H and some solo stuff from Nam Woohyun and Kim Sungkyu. They never disappoint us.

Infinite actually started the trend for synchronization and knife-like dancing in kpop :) Their 2012 song "The Chaser" is considered to be one of the best songs in kpop and was deemed #1 kpop song of the year by Billboard (surpassing Gangnam Style) and #3 kpop boy group song of the decade. I would also recommend the songs "Destiny" (they shot the MV for this in Universal Studios, making them the 1st Korean act to film there), "Back", "Bad", and "Tell Me"! You might also enjoy "Man In Love" (with a brighter concept), which set several records in the industry at the time and gave Infinite an all-kill on music shows. Infinite is currently on hiatus due to military requirements, but they'll be back in 2022/early 2023! In the meantime, they'll be focusing more on solo promotions (Sunggyu, Woohyun, and Dongwoo actually all have great solo albums that you might want to check out too :D)

INFINITE is the king of synchronisation in 2nd kpop generation!! it's normal there is sound you never heard before as Woollim produces music in their own trend. Please react to their song The Chaser which is the No.1 best kpop song of Billboard in 2012 and top 3 of last century!!! the song is so good!! and also BAD!! they are the first idol filiming 360 degrees VR MV in korea!!! Infinite has a very progressive sound that no other group in kpop has and haven't recreated. They are known for their 'Knifelike' or very sharp choreography and along with SHINee where the leaders and main reason kpop groups have focused on choreography more as many groups back then didn't have as intense choreography (though very catchy, not as intense) so they led the way in a sense as their influence played a major role in what kpop has become today. Infinite's also known as being live kings! Super stable! They were seen as the standard back then to be compared to. Military service is basically why they aren't able to do much because they're at that age now... Think the only group that remind me a bit of Infinite because they also have a progressive sound is WayV - like with a lot of instrument use etc. Different sounds, but similar in a sense...? Be Mine was a good mv back then! Most groups didn't have big sets back then (except maybe big 3 companies + cube) or outfit changes or plot lines like we have today, so for 2011 it was a good mv.

I adore every track and choreo from Infinite. There is no bad song for me. That is outstanding. There is no other group where I really love all songs. And I listen to their songs daily, can't also get enough of watching their dance MVs and Live shows.

Hahaha yes totally agree with the "Bullets and guns". Some ideas for reactions: Spica "Russian Roulette", MBLAQ "It's War", T-Ara "Cry Cry" and "Lovey Dovey"... But back to Infinite, they had soooooooo great bops and choreo (the "Be Mine" move you even made is still iconic for many 3rd and 4th gen Kpop idoles). Other legendary MVs are "Before the Dawn" (or sometimes abreviated "BTD" which if I remember correctly made them quite famous especially with the reverse "scorpion" move), "The Chaser", "Paradise" and "Last Romeo". I also like one of their last "Tell Me". Thanks for the reaction and the nostalgia feels!

shock fact: the CEO was dealing with bankruptcy before infinite and he sold his house to produce their song "be mine" and the got their first win while they were still rookies (at that time it was rare to be popular if you are not from the three big companies yg, jyp and sm) but they did it and they saved or "build" the company, they didn't have enough budget with their first songs and mvs but they did their choreography by their own and they shoot their debut on their CEO's house before he sells it.

Infinite really has sooooooo many good songs and even their b sides are woowwww... if you really liked infinite you should also check out Beast (kpop group) infinite and beast totally rocked when it comes to the 2010s kpop era.

Thank you for this reaction! I am, still to this day not 100% sure what is happening in this video. But what I remember, some of the members said that the members are supposed to represent different emotions. There is saddness, anger and fear for example. Some of them are even written in the video, like you saw. Also to me it seems that the main character's (L is his stage name) friends are dead. Somebody correct me if you have more info! Infinite is known for their synchronized dance and their songs have a unique sound, that even though they are different from each other, they still scream Infinite's song for me.

Infinite Be mine . Is the concept of if that girl be mine you will not experience a tragedy. The eyes. His friend is always watching and keep him safe in the danger in the world. But he keeps on moving forward in the danger . His friends gone he wants to kill himself but in the end he realize that he must live for his friends thats why there is a wallet picture of his friends

Since you always mention that you like storylines so much, Golden Child's new comeback is probably exactly what your looking for. I don't wanna spoil too much of it tho... There is a normal MV and also an Drama Full Version of it. The drama one is definitely helping with understanding the story, however it doesn't feature the whole song, only the instrumental/parts of it. For me it worked best to watch the normal one first and the drama one right after that
