In this video, we’ll share a roadmap for you to assess whether or not it’s likely that your spouse is cheating. And, we’ll tell you what you can do moving forward.
We want to preface this by saying: be wise. Don’t immediately think an affair is happening if one of the things we mention is going on. Rather, make sure you read through and evaluate all of the options.
The key to the “Roadmap” (RDMAP) is this: something has CHANGED in your spouse in the following areas:
1. Responses- your spouse’s responses to you. They could be evading questions or accusing you. Remember, these responses do not necessarily mean infidelity has occurred. Your spouse could be hiding something ELSE.
2. Different treatment from your spouse’s family or friends. This could include discomfort, avoidance, or negative emotions.
3. Missing time, money, and/or affection.
4. Altered or new behaviors/appearance, beliefs and values, or family involvement.
5. Protected devices, places, or storage of things.
Remember to think BIG picture. If all of these are happening, it doesn’t necessarily mean infidelity or addiction, however, something may be going on that you may need to look into.
And, don’t snoop. You can lose your leverage to rectify the situation if you snoop.
So, what do you do next? Have a calm conversation. Do not attack or accusing, but explain how some changes have bothered you. Ask that your spouse respects you and tells the truth, but do not attack your spouse. It’s important that he/she feels SAFE to tell the truth.
But what can you do if your spouse does not open up? Continue to pay attention to signs. If evidence comes across, you can say you discovered it without snooping.
If you want to save your marriage, you’ll need the right kind of help. We work with people in these situations EVERY day across the world. Wherever you live, we can help with coaching, in-person workshops, online courses and online resources.

My thinking is: if they choose to pick someone else, they've already decided they no longer want me nor do they love me to have decided to break that trust. They've already made that decision to allow themselves, their heart and mind, to be turned away from me If a man doesn't want to be kept, he will not be kept no matter what the spouse does

Change in beliefs. THAT ONE HITS HOME. My husband always said that he would never forgive me being unfaithful. Three years ago this changed to I love you so much I would even forgive you for that. When I asked him about the change of heart. He said I've come to love you more deeply and I will forgive anything. Yes I have had the bad feelings. Just no proof. It so hard when you have a kids together. How can you destroy their bubble of happiness based off of your feelings?

Always listen to your gut and intuition, remember the out-of-the-norm ordinary pointers occurring, and mentally keep notes. Been there and won from being vigilant, and given all the opportunities to rectify, but each person has a choice, and when help is refused by the offender, then there comes a point when you have to walk away from a marriage, even though it is so hard to do.

I leave her and then she begs me back and things are fine and then she starts accusing me of cheating and crap again. I always thought it was suspicious how my fiance was acting, but I played it off at first. Then I realized, yea he's cheating. I noticed it first when he stopped being intimate with me, and would avoid the subject of sex. Then he would be super clutchy with his phone, like hiding it, turning off volumes, keeping it in his pocket. He texts at all hours of the night, he stays in bathroom or other rooms alone for long periods of time. He always"adjust" himself for longer than a few seconds, always has a hard-on when he has his phone. One time he accidentally called me another girl's name and when I confronted him he played it off like he did it on purpose. He looks at other women and gets flirty even when I'm there. He looks at thin, big boobs girls too, which makes me feel worthless, useless and useless, sexually neglected. 😟I am so depressed , stressed.

This is an accurate description of my relationship. However, this is almost how things have been since a few months before the marriage. I know he has addiction to porn, which he knows I have a problem with, as well as an on-and-off addiciton to alcohol, pills, weed, and maybe more. What do I do to know if he is cheating too? it is hard to decipher new signs when he has been pretty secretive and vague the whole time... the only change as of late is the worsening of the previous habits...:(

19:27 exactly the truth. When i found out my husband is sharing messages to a female co worker which were inappropriate and i confronted him he was feeling sorry about that. But when i asked his friend about this thing he got extremely furious and suddenly i became the villain in the situation. He said i wanted to ruin his reputation. But in the first place he was about to ruin his reputation by himself isn’t it. Crazy as it sounds its actually true.
